I do think you're crazy, but not for this reason. There's not world government, per say. Merely more regulation and cooperation. It's been happening for a while...
As the world became globalized (some 10-15 years ago), regulations became necessary, as more countries were trading and forming aliases, etc... These regulations expanded and there's a need for organization. It's logically sound and necessary as the world becomes one. As I've always said, government is necessary for groups of people to thrive. Due to technology, the group of people has widened (encompassing the whole world) and it needs some governing. And yes, some governments are corrupt, but not all. If a true system of checks and balances has been implicated, then it can deal with most problems. If a tyrannical grip were to take hold of this world government, then the people will speak their minds (wink).
The problem is that you take everything to it's extreme. You hear about a globalized governing body and automatically assume that Obama and the Pope are in cahoots with the aliens and robots to take over mankind. Do you have any moderating agency in your brain.
