I started to harvest one of the purps ladies and got a 1/3 of the way and quit... damn hands!
You have a few weeks on those with all the hairs just starting to turn. Those hairs should be sucked back into the calyx and the buds with an amber tone unless you want 50/50 cloudy/amber. Yea, my sativa is going to go tinto Nov I think

Thanks guys. I'll try to hold off on those GT. I'm not really in any kind of hurry. I survived the drought, the cows, and the great flood. Anyways I'm sitting pretty good with a few jars from last year and already some from my casualties this year. Besides I gotta get my bubble bags in.

Hold on to that woody bigT I don't won't you having any premature pickalation... lol

Well the way I figure it if you came this far minght as well finish it right. If there is any mold/mildew starting I would cut it out or chop them. I was trying to cut the bud rot out of mine but it got too much to wait. Im not out anything, like an electric bill every month, so its all good. Idealy, I like to wait until there are amber tones to the buds and the hairs are red and retracted into the calyxs. But thats just me. As long as you got some to keep you at bay I think you will be ok.

Looking good Slab! do you have a a loupe or magnifying glass to watch the color of the tricomes? Thats the best way to tell, the pistols hint that you better start looking at the tricomes with a lens.. Cant wait to see the end result, that rain was well needed! Cheers!

I only had one bud with rot and removed it all down to the main stem.

No mildew but watching with all this rain, another wet week on the way. yippie :cuss::cuss::cuss:

Hey mcone, wrong journal lol Are you baked again???bongsmilie
BUT, I use a magnifying glass with a zoom spot out in the field even though I have a Radio Shack "420 scope". It's alright sitting at the table where everything is still and well lit but you can't beat that magnifying glass zoom spot with reading glasses on. It's like looking at giant amber penises all standing up on my little girls. hahaha

Can't wait for my bubble bags to come in. I've got a large garbage bag full of males and early trim to try out right away. Learning curve ya know.

I'm glad the rot was at a minimum, hopefully it stays that way!!

I think were getting your weather from last week now. It's supposed to rain most of the week.
Good luck!!

Ha! I just got the name wrong (now fixed), not the wrong journal all together.. My bad.. But yeah I was extremely baked on the champagne!! I have some jars stacked up now and am living the good life! bongsmilie
I didn't know you could produce any thc from bubble bagging males though? Or is it just practice? (Maybe I DO need to burn another one CPH!)
I just harvested my males for their pollen and seeded a couple lower branches on my favorite gal
Either way your crop is looking NICE!

That's alright mcone, lol. And thanks for the compliment. You may resume...bongsmilie

Of course the males don't produce near the amount of trichomes but they are certainly there. Just look. Just wait to see what I come up with. Kind of a trial experiment out of curiosity more than anything to see if it's even worth bothering with. But yes, the male cannabis plant certainly produces trichomes contrary to a lot of misleading info out there. They can even give you a mild buzz in a pinch. :eyesmoke:

I hear that genfranco. I'm certainly not gonna mix them in with my female trim. But with about 8 lbs of frozen males I should be able to come up with some male hash. Gonna be interesting.

I can't wait to make a run with the female trim though. That should be really good and with the different mesh to separate the sizes. All I ever did was the old school water separation/gravity method where you got everything in one stage.

Grrrrr.... We have a lot of airbase traffic 'round here too... Paranoia mixed with real fear sucks..

Thats good news on the males.. I have 2 in the closet still drying from pollen harvesting and another i just brought back inside from outside segregation to collect his pollen. I will add them to my mash for bubble bagging. And to think I was going to try and cut the 3 plants up for easy disposal anyway....... bongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmilie
