Yeah, I've laways heard the amber trichrome thing, but, if I wait that long the plants usually look worse for it. Ending a plant's cycle is something that I haven't quite perfected but, from what I've learned so far, flushing is VERY important. And being consistant, not flushing for a few days then adding nutes again. If you are committing to flush, then its good to stick with it. You want the plant to start using teh rest of the stored nutes it has, which is why you get the yellowing of the leaves, but you also want the calyxes that the white hairs come out of to swell up into little pod looking things, which is what they are supposed to be (seed-pods). And, you can always go with what Soma says (ex-pat American grower in Amsterdam), "Wait until you think its ready, then wait a week...". Invest in a jewlers loupe (lens) or a magnifying scope (30x does the trick), and you can get up close veiws of your flowers and follow their progress.. Every strain is a little different so what works for one might not always work for another.... Sorry.. Long-winded.. Im smoked..
