The second to last pic looks like a toilet haha
i will say it again, i started out doing this with a spoon in a bucket. i HAVE tried it and i'm NOT knocking you or anything you have said. i just think you're being a little hard on ALT. he is not doing anything that EVERY other business does. it's part of running a business. if you have a cheaper way, that's fine. but don't be a dick about it.Ok first off I started this thead to help people out who are tired of getting taxed becuase thet want to buy something that is Marijuanna related. It is all over priced. Second the hash is not green when it dries. It is nice and blond. Third Aqualabs is selling $30 dollar washing macnines for $180 bucks. If you want to pay $150 more for a sticker feel free. If you are to pull you head out of Aqualabs butt and take a look around you might realize that there are a lot of growers here that aren't in the same situation as you are FDD. Don't knock it till you try it! I have tried the brand name bubble bags and payload bags and I get the same results. If this thread is not for you that is fine but I have gotten lots of great feedback on it from people that are tired of being taxed.
I am not trying to be a dick to the Aqualabs guy. I probably have been. I have said many times I understand he is a business man and wants to make money. I still think $180 is a bit out of line for a cheap little plastic imported mini washing machine The underlying motivation for this whole thing is that everything in this industry is way way over priced!!! Bubble machines, Grow lights, fan, pumps, controllers, filters, paraphernalia. It horrible. If overhead justifies a 500 to 600% mark up then you need a new business plan or you are just putting the screws to the little guy. What ever happened to selling a good product at a reasonable price? My pissing and moaning on RUI won't hurt the Aqualabs guy a bit. There are still plenty of people out there that will buy his product. I'm sure he will be just fine. But there are people out here how don't ave or don't want to spend that kind of money. THOSE are the people I started this thread for.
http://www.aqualabtechnologies.com/medical-filtration/zipcro-pyramid-filter-bags.htmli'm w/ ya on tryin to save wat ya can where ya can milo, +rep to ya! think i'm going to try this but couldnt find the 220 zip bag on the link. could you give me directions plz? lol
I don't have a press I just fold the drying screen over it on top of a shamwow and put a piece of cardboard on top and step on it.Hey milo ... there's no drama......
do you press your hash once you have made it..?? What do you use..? Has anyone got any suggestions for cheap ways of making a press..?
I was not bashing any thread, I was just defending our company from somebody seeing a price on some chinese broker companies site and saying that we paid the same price.
We are sure that in a few more years you will be able to buy machines like the Breezy in Dollar stores all over the country. This will only help the growth of Medical Hashish which is our goal to help patients to be able to make there own quality medical hashish.
This thread is good for the beginner hash maker who does not understand the value of quality medical hashish and wants to experiment with making there own.
Please, do not step or press your hash while it is wet. You should absorb the water from your hash while it is still in the bags on the screen by placing it on the sham wow shami towels or a stack of paper towels. Then remove your hash with a card or spoon and place it on a dry screen to later dry and be broken down into pwder form over the first few hours. Then leaving for another 24 hours before smoking and 7 days before pressing for storage or transport.

i cure my trim before i use it for hash. usually for a few months. i harvest in the fall and make hash mid winter so it sits awhile. i make sure it's dried just like my buds, then bagged and stored until needed.Thankz ALT ...((I just brought a bag from your site))... I was wondering about weather you press it wet or not..... do you think it is better to cure the buds before you make hash with them or is drying them enough?? and leave the hash to cure...?? I am new to making hash and appreciate all the info I can get on it.....
and thanks again milo for starting this great thread...... :^)

if you press your hash wet you trap water in it. then it mildews.
i dry mine until it feels like sand. usually at least 5 days. most often more. then i put on a pair of vinyl gloves and start working it together.
i recently crumbed some, dried it fully, then jarred it up. after about a month in the jar it turned really gooey. took only a few minutes to hand press 50 grams.
