dude wtf! that plant is crazy! what kind of light are you using and how close??? thats nuts man it looks like it could make you a hedge one day! lol

i am just using 6 23w cfls at 6500 and those are in a homemade refletor that has 3 light fixtures each with a socket spliter and those are fastened to a very ugly yet sturdy serving tray and i have some wood on the top of it so i can hang my lights ill see if i have any pics of it i should................
ok took me a second just a little stoned atm but yeah there are so many side branching going on and one of my bottom branches almost looks like my stem which is turning into a beast im trying to get some better pics to emphesize on the bushyness of this damn thing i may take some cuttings and build a hedge around my tree fort lol

lmao, well i like ur setup, are u gonna flower with 2700k CFL\s??? *also i suggest swapping out 1 or 2 of those with a 2700k ...a small bit of that spectrum is beneficial, i heard 10-20%. (and same for in flowering, just vice versa)

well i have 1 23w 2700k cfl and havent seen a change. good news though i rearanged my cab put nex intake fan and exhaust fan and i cant beleive the air flow im getting! when my lights are on my cab temps at plant level are 68-70 and that is without my intake on and my exhaust turned down as low as it will go which is like 500 rpm not sure on the cfm since its just a computer fan. but on another not i had to buy a new timer for my lights because the cheap peice of crap i got from menards will turn off when it is supposed to but when it is supposed to turn back on it just freezes dosent turn on and messes up my schedual so i went and got the nicest anolog timer i could find so hopefully i can get it on an accurate 18/6 light scheduel. i think i stressed it the last 3 days it hasent turned on or off at the same time its been way messed up i just hope I didnt accidental give it to little light. oh well ill have pics later tonight or tomorrow. i have another light fixture im thinking about making too but that is for another day when i have free time

well i made some improvements to my box! since i got my temps under control i decided it was time to add the 2 t5s and 1 t12 that i had for some extra lighting and things were ok but then i had to goto menards to get some plugins for a bedroom im remodleing and i came across 2 3 ft 21 watt t5s that were used as a display and were being sold for 5$ each with the bulbs so i bought those and installed them in my cab as soon as i got home so now i know i have no shortage of light and here are some updated pics of my bush! hope you like

well im going to 17/7 tonight and i add a half hour every day till i reach 16/8 and when i decide to goto flower i will give myself a few days to work my way to 12/12. my grow areas dimensions are 39"tall 15"deep 27"wide and my plant is only about 4 inches out of the pot but that is 20+ tops laying flat on the soil since ive been training it to grow outwards instead of upwards but i am pretty much done with the training. im hoping to get a wide 2 foot plant. but one problem i ran into is cloning! i tried the water method once and my cutting just wilted away right away so i bought this gel from menards so i hope that works and it says nothing else needed so im going to try again without rooting hormone.

if you have water runoff soak it up with a rag or let it run away, dont let the bottom roots sit in the water...you could get root rot.

well holy crap i trimed so much last night and and took 5 clones and at first i thought the clones were done for because the got all wilted and looked dead but i went and got a sack to smoke on and came home and they were looking about the same so i trimmed some lower fan leaves and stuck it further into the gel cups i bought at menards and i woke up this morning and they look just awsome they perked up and look like they are working and i also started spraying my plant with sodium free seltzer water/ carbonated water and the leaves are looking darker and perkier! i have some pics of the clones and plant might get more tonight

lookin dank my man. i think when you clone you should cut off a few more fan leaves, the clones get moisture stress as the root system can't deliver the leaves and stalk with water.... this is why the humidity dome and the spraying are neccesary. when you remove the large fan leaves the clone seems to devote attention to its root development, also, where the fan leaves attatched to the main stalk become root heads, and they develope pretty quick

anyway keep up the good work, and if you didnt catch it on my journal, my indian skunk turned out male.!

new one sprouted yesterday, Big Bang from greenhouse seed co, and oh ya, its femenized!!!

that sucks! well i trimed some more of the under brush it just seems to be neverending but everytime i trim it the main branches seem to spread out a little and grow better and now i have a decent canopy with no vegitation on the lower branches. im just waiting to finish the trimming on one of my lower nodes cuz there is 2-3 more potential clones!im wondering how long people normaly veg for?
