First Grow - 2x Blue mystics & 2 Mystery ladies (Hopefully ladies) Wardrobe Setup

OK, this is my first grow (CFL, 8x 6400 42W & CFL 8x 2700 23W)

I had germinated 4 seeds. 2x blue Mystic and 2 Mystery seeds (From Nirvana).

All 4 germinated well aprox 3/4" root growth before i planted them.

Soil only, light running 24/day.

The 2 Mystery ladies have since popped and are about 1 1/2" thus far (in 2 days).
One of the Blue Mystics has also come up (about 1') however; the other Blue Mystic seemed to die/vanish. I took a peak looking for the seed/root in the pot I planted them in; to no avail... Not sure what happened there.... It "Mysteriously vanished".....

Oh well; I've since begun the germination of another Blue Mystic, and it should be ready to go within 2 days.

Lol, my wife named the 2 mysteries as 1: Tina the Lama (from Napoleon Dynamite) and Cornelius (From the 5th Element) ;>

Here's some pics taken this morning (2 day's since I planted the germinated seeds into Soil (no Nutes yet)

(first day in soil was the 13th of feb 2010)

1st: Tina the Lama
2nd: Cornelius
3rd: Blue Mystic 1

Watering every few days (Is it ok to Spray the little ones each day with a bit of water?)

Cfls 1inch above them for a week stop making them grow up stem will thicken and leaves will grow quicker

water well then leave for soil to dry before watering again in a week you will be shocked

with cfl so close 1 inch dont spray as leaves will burn due to water magnifying light bleaching effect happens

I dont spray period when lights are on at any distance because it works basically like a magnafying glass in the sun. Scribed though.

Pic 3 is th Blue Mystic 5 days as well that I got from Nirvana as well. (it's a much slower grower than it's 2 partners. )

(I've re germinated another Blue Mystic and am waiting for the seedling to sprout.)

if you do a height width stat for a couple of days you can work out the expected growth rate time for height over 2 or 3 weeks

i had 21 plants and topped and fem only one and it looks like the king now 4 arms instead of one wish i had done it to all of them

Hey krozone, we're sub'd. We're growing some blue mystics too, we have four of them right now about 5 weeks old. They start off slow but by the 3rd week or so they really take off. If you have any questions just let us know. Good Luck.

to start, a light fell onto one of the 2 Mystics. 1/2 of the plant is gone. :<

Other Blue Mystic is gone.. (I'll explain) :>

At 2 weeks of age, I gave them very little PureBlendProGrow. Well, they all dropped and dried up. (aside from one Blue Mystic).
the other Blue did not come out of it. It ended up as a stem, which I encouraged to grow to no avail (3 days).

I had posted in the problem section that the only thing I can think of (Aside from Nutes) is that the lights are off daily in the am when my lady uses the TreadMill. For about 30 minutes they are in the dark.

I had a cfl secured via velcro, which fell on top of one of the Blue Mystics.

BTW: In comparison to the 2 other mystery plants, this Blue Mystic had endured everything the other 2 plants have including being burnt from a CFL.
I think she looks great! Again; considering..

Cornilious... This one started out very well... (including Tina the Lama).


I've not tested, but have been told by my local growing shop that the tap water in my area is fine; additionally I let it sit over night.

Watering once per week

lights about 2 inches away (8x6400 42W)
they were fine yesterday.... (These two)

Weird how the Blue Mystic looks fine..?

Well I hope you do know that simply letting it sit dosent stop everything that kills plants right? Go to petsmart and grab a bottle of API's tap water conditioner...You wont be dissapointed.
