I know old school growers who recommend adding Vitamin B to the plant to help it through the colder months. But keep in mind this was post harvest. They were only supporting the roots, stem & a few nodes, in an attempt to 'second-season' their plant for the new year.

Thanks for your reply Ninja. Thankfully I am north of sydney, the buds seem to be coming on at a nice pace I hope they can fill out more even as the temps drop.

The Vitamin B sounds intresting, I may give that a go.

hey guys
1st time grower ... ive put up a pic of setup and plants ,they are 3 weeks old with 2 weeks under the good light .have cracked the 300mm mark yesterday which i think is pretty good ,they average between 20mm and 30mm per day under a 400w ,the nutes are run at the same time as light 18/12 ,pump is on one hour then off one hour for the 18 and it only drips so not over fed i dont think ( off for the 12 hrs ) .. i rekon it all is going well ... what do youse think? :-? went with only the two to get some education about growin .. next one i think i can run 6 under the one light so if all goes well ... jobs on

18/6..like as in 24hrs u should be at man.. wot media are they in? sounds like ur over watering but they look healthy enough.. hopefully u get 2 girls!..
man, dont waste too much time learning and start utilising that big-ass room u got!!:bigjoint: Oh forgot to say..u can just leave the light on 24/0, all day, much easier and works a treat

hey lacey have u had mould issues with growing in tent? its just im going from 2 X cab setups to 2 X tents and it will be in a family friends house. don't wanna trash the joint

Hi Sid, funny you should mention it but yes with my White Widow grow I encountered mould in the last two weeks of flower...Scared the shit out of me... The only thing you can do to help prevent it, is make sure you vent your tent even when the lights are off, and keep fans going on high 24/7... I have a really big exhaust fan 200mm for my 1.8mx2mx2m tent plus two oscillating fans this time and I've always had a portable A/C for the summer...... I even have an exhaust fan in my lil cloner tent...lol... Just keep things moving in there quite vigorously.... Laceygirl... :-)

Not sure really. They look small. I have 20/20 vision but cant see that small. I am sure people have said that you just know when the buds are done. I dont want to go too far though as i heard it starts to become shittier potency. Me and my mrs just ordered a really nice 12.5 mega pixel camera but it may not be here for a week or so. I will take some pics tomorrow and maybe you can help me tell if its close. Its still pretty puny god damit.

oh i mean do they look kinda clear, milky?? what percentage of the pistils have browned ya reckon? estimate lol

Kmoo seriously i am not trying to be difficult i just cant tell. The below picture was taken about 6 days ago. I think that about half the pistils are brown.

lookin the goods rs.. hard to tell without a loupe.. looks to be some swell left in her.., although i dont think u'd be dissapointed wen ever u choose to chop

Hey Bill. Yes i think it is actually just starting to get some width about it now. I actually thought this morning that it may have got a little bit bigger. I think its just a pretty dud plant though. Leaving it for about 4 weeks in the shade did it no favours. I see pictures of peoples buds that are covered in pistils and mine was never like that. I will take some better photos tomorrow and i am sure you more experienced growers will be able to tell. Going to try and pick up a little 20 tomorrow in preparation for Sat night. Going to pack myself some thumpers and see what sports are on. Lookinng forward to it.
