Thanks bro, Yup temperature is always on my mind. I may have to design a *gulp* 23 watt setup.
hey, you know mine is a 6 bulb 23 watt setup, its not so bad, LoL. new bean loves it. if i the auto strain thing next time, i think it will still be good enough for 3 plants.

I have two Y splitters and will pick up a third. I ordered a 6 pack of 23 watt 2700k bulbs. I have to see if its the bulbs or the ventilation

I'm starting to wonder if i should tie down the branches. I do not have any string on hand, i will pick some up at wall world.
temps are at 86 with the doors cracked open. Attached is a few pics
man, my temps went up when i put the big fan in, right now with the ac on its running at 82, that makes me happy. it smells so danky in my room, LoL. i would tie it down now so that the smaller buds can catch up to the top and you'll get more, but please be careful pulling down the branches so as not to break it off at the node, you can do like i did and prop a stick or something under the branch close to the node so it doesnt put stain on it. good luck.

I will definitely researching more before i go bending my lady. It's scary just thinking about it.

As for odor control, Either the ona gel pro is working or i got lucky and this auto flower has no stink. At least not yet.

I was looking at a few stickys like HOW TO LST and it seems i waited way to long to LST. I do not get what im supposed to tie down. can anyone suggest a thread or something that shows a total newbie how to lst? I tested a few branches but the main stalk seems way to rigid to bend must at all.

The plant is in a 5 inch net cup and inside a 4 gallon res. So it has the entire box to itself. I need to find a another lid but for the life of me i cannot think of what the containers were called.

slowly bend it like over a couple days or so, just bend it till it feels like it going to break then stop, try again in a few days, There is many ways to LST and its more on your preference, i LST and all i do is just tie branches down to keep a low height and bushy plant, and light gets into the middle of the plant better so that must be helpful. But i also do do crazy bending around the pot or anything, i just kinda make the plant grow how i want it to grow

Great information guys, I really appreciate it, I will get some string or yarn and see what i can do with tying the branches down. So the idea is to make the plant shorter by bending them over as far as they will safely go. should i start with the main stalk or the other "bud sites" first? or does it matter?

i would try a smaller branch just to test it out and get the feel of the stem and how it bends, remember, there hollow like a straw. found that out when i cut down the male plant. it will make the plant shorter, but the point of it is to create more main colas sort of, whereas the smaller buds along the lower part of the branch gets more light to grow bigger.

Ok i will work on the branches first, I think i have some yarn somewhere i could use. I bent them down as a test and they seem easy enough to hold down. I can loop them around the holes in the net cups and then the branch. I may tie them down to the other net cups since they are there might as well use them. I really need to make a one hole lid but i cant remember what that container is called.

all of these pics are from just 1 branch, the main 1. 2 of the pics are the main cola and the lower part of it, then the 3 shoots off of it, and a shot of all 3 of the shoots coming off the main, it allows the little lower shoots to form like another main cola, so i'll have the top main cola and then 3 more smaller "main" colas. plus all the little popcorn buds all on 1 branch and i did this to all 5 branches.

also, thinking about it, you might not want mess with that main cola on yours and just do some of the other branches on this plant. then on your next grow when you top it, try to tie down all the main branches. just a thought.

I was thinking seriously thinking about leaving the mail cola alone on this one since its so late in flowering. I will just open up the plant a little and tie down the lower branches.

ya this would probably be the best since you didnt do it right after you topped, just opening it up will make all those little buds get so much bigger

Thank you for your input, I can use all the help i can get. I was examining my lady and the flowers if tied down would be farther away from the cfl's. I took notice that all the sites where the pistils are located are not in shade.

It almost feels like i waited too long to LST this plant. everything seems pretty spread out already. I guess I'm asking once and for all if i should LST this plant at all. I keep reading that after 3 weeks of flowering you have to stop lst.

I included some pics
