Daily pics from HELL BOX 2010

In one of the pictures i am noticing a red streak developing on one of the fan leave stalks, is this an indicator of a problem?

I know there are no bugs on my plants, I examine them at least twice a day. When i have grown other veggies the red stripe was no big deal in the larger leaves. Ive seen it on tomatoes many times. I will certainly keep an eye on things. Just making sure She's okay.

I keep the doors cracked and it stays at 88 which i have just come to live with. I dont seem to be able to get under 88 at peak times. Im just grateful its not in the 90's.

I ordered a siphon so i can really change the water. Guess who forgot to think of a drain solution?? Yup so i plan to siphon the water into a 5 gallon bucket i have. This is how i will flush my lady when the time comes. Anyone heard of a flushing solution? It's supposed to clear the water of all nutrients, but that sounds too good to be true...

sweet info, I will spend some time there studying for future grows. I like some of their ideas on ventilation in small spaces

It was change the ona gel jar day today. I smell nothing at all around or in my cabinet. one jar lasts a month and i figure its worth it since i have no carbon scrubbers in place yet. I ordered some Flora Kleen, thanks CD

thats cool, ive never made it before, just saw that thread and looked the extruder up, looks pretty cheap and easy to do. might order 1 soon and try it when i harvest.

If a dremmel wont work, you may need a drill with a metal bit and a pair of metal snips from your hardware store. that means you will have to cut them by hand. drill a starter hole and use the snips to cut out a hole. I traced the fan on my cab and then cut the holes to match it.

Have you decided on which fans you will go with?
I'm going to make it easy on myself and just go with a cheap inline duct fan for the exhaust, passive intake, and a small oscillating fan near the intake hole to help draw the air in. Hopefully a little thing like that won't be too noisy. Since I'm going to use 4" ducting, I'll probably just cough up the cash for a 4-inch hole saw to cut through the cabinet and make it easy on myself.
