Purple Jems DWC Grow

What's up Minonthreat? The roots on your baby looks healthy. I'm germinating Chronic seeds. I will be using a 1-gallon tub with 2-net pots dwc/scrog. I was wondering did you put your sprout into the net pot w/hydroton rocks without putting the sprout in rockwool? I'm not clear on that part. I subscribed to your threat because I will like to follow your method. I'm new to growing and glad to see you are doing a small grow too.

Sorry to hear that your baby was male, that sucks! I see you have 2 plants going ( always best to have at least 2) this time and that you put your sprouts in rooter cubes. I have rockwool, that I will be using. I can't wait to get started. I hope you don't mind if I bug you about going since we both are using the same method. Only my grow will be in a PC grow box. I will be following along!

CHIEF PUFF PUFF hey man whats up glad to see you here! to your questions! my nutes i am using are FloraNova Grow for the veg state and the seedlings, i have rapid rooter cubes and a diff. type of medium than hydroton! there little rocks and are supposed to have more nutritional value than hydroton. My process is i soak the rapid rooter cube, and my rock medium with 1/2 strength nute solution and put the seedling (taproot down) into the rapid rooter! Then mix up the reservoir with the same level mine holds just barely under 2 Gallons tho. then i change the resevoir every week and up the nutes every week also hope this helps if you have any questions just let me know!

NOW on to an update! still no signs of sex but damn they are really taking off on growth im gonna get some bad ass pics this week my friends coming over with his bad ass $700 camera! So buckle up everyone

Hey Minor, wanted to thank you for stopping by on my BD & FB auto grow. I just recently germed 2 PJ's & a Flower Power with the shot glass method, my flower power cracked 24 hours later but my PJ's did not so I let the soak anot 6 hours. One of my PJ's barely cracked and the other did not bit I decided to place them into jeffy pellets anyway. How long did your PJ's take to crack or did they even crack? Mine have been sitting in pellet for a little over 24 hours now and still no signs of sprout, about how many days did your 3 PJ's take to sprout? Sorry to hear your first was a male, I know you cut it but do you plan to seed any of them? Also I would like to thank the guy that posted the seed production thread, I def need to read up on it. Is there anyway you can get seeds from just a male plant, I was planning to put it outside if so? Wouldn't it seed mixed seeds, I could be wrong but that is just what I thought. Also if I pollen a female does this mean it will hermie it, I want to seed atleast one PJ for sure. Thanks in advance & I look foward to checking up on your grow, I'll post pictures soon as mine sprout, p'z!..

Hey everyone, i still really havent seen any signs of sex but im waiting till i get some legit quality pics for evidence of what i see! they are looking awesome tho! So they are at 2 1/2 weeks right now, so here are a few pics of what they r looking like!

Looking good minor, I'm hoping you have some females on your hands. I started germing my PJ's & FP the other day & one of my PJ's & FP sprouted already. I'm still waiting on the other to sprout, it didn't crack using shot glass method. I'm actually hoping to get a male PJ on this grow so I can collect some pollen to produce seeds. I wouldn't mind trying to cross the purple with the flower power to make some "purple flower power seeds". I may have started my FP a little to early for that though, they are the same age. What do you guys think, not enough time to produce pollen & cross on same age grow?

well the best time to pollenate a female is around wk 4-5....and if your plants are really @ the same age, try givin them more pollen a wk later...= more seeds!!!

Well that kinda stinks in a way but i bet you that the other is female. They usually take a little more time to show. I would deff harvest the pollen from him or if the other is female let nature take its course and get ya some seeds. I know it will be your first jem if its female so thats all up to you. But i would deff harvest him and then paint a branch and carry on the blood line If you need any help PM me
