So any profit in these ghetto setups or are they just your own personal smoke stash? If you're only growing a couple plants, will there be profit out of it or not enough to make it worth it?

You wil find that most grow for personal use only. Selling and trying to make profits off of your grow just adds more problems in my opinion. More in the sense of law enforcement....things of that nature. I think selling just takes away from the purity of growing. Maybe that sounds stupid/cliche, but I don't know how else to put it.

im using a 1000W HPS i got on sale for $360, but i would get ALOT more bud if i had the patience to vegg the plants longer lol
yeeap, just person for me too. i give my dad half my crop because he is legal also, so i kick him down for letting me use the space,electicity,etc.. and he kicked me down throughout my teen years so it feels good to get him back FINALLY lol

yea i could make like $300-600 per plant if i really wanted, but id MUCH rather save $400-700 =] lol
buying weed seems pointless when ur spending that much $$ on it.

yea. i used ta hustle pretty much my whole life, so iv built up a pretty high tolerance smoking all the profit off that year after year, now that im grown up a bit n moving on from all tht shit i cant get high off a bowl here and there, even with pretty good deals ( 210 a oz of high grade) it still is bullshit lol
when it comes to eating, or smoking, growing is the only reasonable explanation lol

Here's another update on my bro's girls. In the past 3 days his buds have almost doubled in size..
Funny thing is that i started these from seeds and gave them to him out of the 20 plants that grew thinking "i picked the best two out of the lot, i'll give him the next best two" I think he may have gotten the better ones. 
Mine still have yet to form buds and i'm over a month into flower.

whats the difference is your guys grow rooms? is he using diffrent lights or nutes

His are under 4-4ft 6500K T12's, no nutes, same soil, same light schedule. We both went into flowering within a week of each other.
Mine were under 2 68W(150W) CFLs, 1 23W cfl both 2700K, and 2 2ft 6500K T12s.. Just a few days ago i added 3 more 23W cfls and i'm hoping that a boost of extra light will jump start the buds.
Can using LST throughout flowering slow bud development? Because i'm growing in a 2X3 space and have to keep them out of site, i have to tie down new parts of my plants almost weekly to keep them under 2ft tall. Measured with a floppy tape this morning and the bigger of the two would be pushing 3 1/2ft if it wasn't tied down while my brothers hasn't been tied down and are barely 2ft and buds like mad.

the ex-mother plant's second root site seems to have started sucking up energy already
shes gettn massive.
and the clones are looking good too! one looking kinda sad tho
and my SSH plant thats almost ready to harvest is looking tastey.... its sooo hard to wait!!
