I've got a couple of the SG clones that rooted really well and I put them in soil early last week. One of them will be a mother plant and the other is going in the flower room in a coule days. Theres six more SG clones in the humidity dome right now that are a few days old. I think half of them will most likely make it since all six were taken from three branches as an experiment.

The SLH and Church plants got Supercropped the other day and the lower branches are coming along nicely so hopefully I'll be able to take cuttings from them in a couple weeks.

Last but not least is the GC plant in the flower room which I will be taking the lower branches off of soon and making clones out of them (today makes 1 week in the flowwer room). I'll take the lower third of the plant with the hopes of getting 5-6 nice clones out of it.

I'm hoping that between what's in the dome and what I'll cut in the next day or so, I'll be able to start the first run of hydro plants in the flower room soon. The tray will hold 8 pots but I may do 6 the first time around and see if there's enough space between them for the other 2 or not. We'll see what I end up with for good clones and go from there.

Are you cloning plants that are in the flowering stage? If that SG was around 21 days into flowering or more...I can prob figure that out but im lazy...you can monster crop it.

Crazy technique that involved cloning a flowering plant. Hard to get the clone to survive but if you do it does this.....and on its own no topping

I've never heard of monster cropping and yes I took cuttings from two plants that are flowering since my mother plants aren't ready yet. The SG is a few weeks into flower ant the GC is a week in and I thought about trying to get the part I took off the top to root but ended up trhowing it out. My initial thought was to take a little more off the top than I did, snip off the branches from the bottom of the cutting and stick in rockwool. Then I'd have a cutting that was thick with a few branches on it already but I've heard that cuttings taken from the tops have a harder time rooting so I didn't bother. I snipped about 8" off the main stem only and left all the branches in place except for the clones I got from the bottom about a week ago.

I have a grip of clones in my humidity dome now so hopefully I'll get a good sized batch that root to get the hydro setup started.

If you get a clone or a few to survive I hope one ends up looking like that pic I posted. That would be sick.
On a related note my clones are just shy of 2 weeks in the humidity dome and no roots coming out the bottom yet. I still have faith that a couple of em will root. It can take up to 3 weeks according to the bible.
Well done clones will root to the bottom in a week or a lil more I think. I didnt soak the stonewool in PH down though so Im not sure they will take. Waiting to see if they do before taking more clones. Next time I will dip the cubes in the PH down first now that I have it.

I soak mine in water that's ph adjusted to 5.5 for a bit and that's it. I dip the cutting in gel and then powder and then it goes in the rockwool and so far I get roots in 11-14 days.

You see what's missing in the picture, right? The main stem is only a few inches tall. Looks like it was cut off so the branches had to compensate for having no main stem or top.

I know my grow op has been all over the place lately and I appreciate you guys sticking with me while I sort it all out.

I haven't even posted the most current info since I've been running around like a chicken with it's head cut off so here it goes:
I'm currently getting ready to harvest the Hindu Skunk which I'm starting to be concerned about. I initiated the flush too early so the leaves have all started yellowing pretty good from it using up all the nutes and everything so I've trimmed the fan leaves that weren't directly coming out of the buds all off and now the remaining ones have all yellowed and the whole thing is looking pretty sad with the exception of the buds themselves which are fat as hell. The sweet leaves though are starting to yellow a bit today which is what concerns me. Some of the buds look done but others don't look quite done yet but I think I will be forced to harvest this lady either tomorrow night or the following night to avoid having the sweet leaves turn yellow. I just want to be sure the buds look, tast and smell the way they should so I think I better get to it very soon.

I have had mixed information regarding my Church and SLH plants and the end result was I put them in my flower room for a day and then they went back into the veg room. This sped things up a bit and they showed "pre flowers" a couple days later and I now know for sure they are females. They both are getting close to having big enough lower branches to make clones out of so one of them will be the donor for the next round.

Right now I have the two above plants and two Sour Grapes in veg with the Sour Grapes being freshly rooted clones. I transplanted one of them into a 3 gallon grow bag today and it will go in the flower room in a few days, the other will stay like it is for another week or so and then go into the 5 gallon pot that the Hindu Skunkis coming out of to keep around for a mother plant. End goal here is to have 4 mothers that are SLH, Church, Sour Grapes and Green Cush.

In the humidity dome right now are a bunch of cuttings that should be rooting over the next week and a half. There's some more Sour Grapes and some Green Cush and the plan for all of them, except one Green Cush, is to either go straight into flower with no veg time or veg for a week and then go into flower depending on whether they end up in hydro or soil. The soil plants will veg for a week but not the hydro since I don't have room for a hydro veg setup.

My hydro setup consists of a Rubbermaid tote that has been cut down in height and has plumbing glued and siliconed into it for a tray that measures 17"WX27"LX8"D and a big ass ice chest that sits under the table directly below the tray for an insulated reservoir. It has 25 gallons of Ph adjusted water in it right now and I'll mix in the nutes when the plants go in.
Tha plants will be 6" mesh bottom pots. These have a lip on the top so they're actually 7" in daimeter at the top which means I can have 2 rows of 3 plants and a row of 2 plants in the middle if I choose. I will start out with 6 though and go from there.

Since this takes up less than half of my flower room I'll be growing some soil plants as well but like mentioned earlier, they will be kept small so the light can stay low for the hydro plants. I put the one in a 3 gallon grow bag today and decided I will cut the rest of what I bought down in height so they'll be more like 2 gallon bags. I'd like to see 3-4 soil plants and 6 hydro plants in there at the same time with alternating harvests for now so I can at least harvest once every four weeks or so. Eventually I'll add the other hydro setup and then I will cut the soil back to 1 or 2 plants and have a wierd harvest pattern of something like every 2 weeks for a bit and then 4 weeks and then back to 2 weeks.

Anyway, there it is. The final product of all my craziness the past few weeks. I wish I had mapped it out better before fucking with any of it but since I haven't had any work lately, I've had lots of time on my habds to mess things up, lol.

I now have a contract for a 60 day project and some residential misc. stuff that needs to get done during the time frame so I'll be busy with work 7 days a week for a while. Not sure how this will affect my grow but we'll see.

The Sour Grapes is roidin' out right now. Buds almost the size of golfballs all over the place after cutting the main stem off and it's just 3 weeks into flower!!
Little GC plant has been in a little over a week now and it's showing bud too. Gave the HS plants a 1/2 dose of flower nutes since it still doesn't look done and the whole goddam thing was yellow. Looks much better this evening with perky leaves and it's greening back up a bit. Hopefully this is it and it finishes finally.

I read your plan..it should work out fine. Everything seems good. Working so much will be good for money but hard on caring for the garden. It should be fine though. Grats on working and getting your setup together

Thank you. I'm really happy to have some good paying work again.

On a side note, MY church plant has 8 lower branches that are all over 6-8" long so I'm soaking some rockwool cubes and will take cuttings tomorrow night. The SLH is in almost the same boat but not quite. I hadn't given them any nutes at all until this week. Two days ago I gave the Church some Grow Big and did the same with the SLH tonight. Until now they had just been using what's in the Ocean Forest soil and in the last 2 days the Church has grown a ton. There was a little mixed water left over and I diluted it a bit and watered the SG baby with it. In the last 2 days it has grown 2" and has new leaves on it!!

Smokey is right about the garden time dropping but you get a few pleasant surprises when you aint seen em for a couple of days dude, he he he almost worth not lookin sometimes lol.

Excellent grow as ever Dez.

Well, I've got 5 strikes out of 6 clones on the second round I took from the SG plant. No strikes so far on the Green Cush clones but it hasn't been 11 days yet which seems to be the norm for my clones. I had 3 strikes on day 11 of the SG and now it 5 strikes :)
My buddy dropped off a NL #5 clone today and he's trading me for either a SG clone or a GC clone. He'll pick his up before he heads back home next weekend.

Here's a few updated pics. I harvested the HS plant and needed to hang it so I temporarily relocated my clone tray down with the veg plants. I took a bunch of cuttings today from the Church and SLH this morning too. I the pic of the whole lower area you can see the NL plant on the left side if the rack and the GC plant next to it. The Church and SLH mothers are now crammed into the corner for a few days until the bud is done drying and ready to be jarred up.

There's 25 clones in the dome right now!!!
I'll be picking up what I need to put the rooted ones in soil today so by tonight there will be 5 or 6 fewer in there but I'll have 4 or 5 SG plants to veg for a week before flowering and 1 to be the new SG mother plant since my buddy wants the little one next to the NL. I'm so excited that it's finally coming together, having to stick with soil for a while but at least the SoG is getting going.

I thought of something while slaving away at the sister in laws house today. I figured I could put my reservoir (ice chest) on top of the table in the flower room and put the tray directly on top of it. That would raise the plants up to a respectable distance from the light. So when I got home earlier I moved things around and stuck 4 clones in the mesh bottom pots with Hydroton, Ph'd the water and turned the timer on. First cycle will be at 8 PM after the light turns back on so I'll watch it and see how it works. Hopefully I don't kill the clones with the HPS...

Well it's been 25hrs since I introduced the rooted flowering clones into the hydro setup in the flower room and they are still alive... I actually cut the one wilted leaf you can see in the pic off just now. It appears that one of the SG clones may not root so 5 out of 6. I'll put the other one in eithe rsoil or hydro tonight, not sure yet.
