Wow this is awesome man. Wish I would have found it sooner. Love the videos.

I have some concerns about drying too. In early July I picked an auto and my whole upstairs smelled from it and it was only about 1/8. Can't even imagine what a lb is gonna smell like, haha. Luckily I have 5 different strains, so hopefully they finish at different times. Gonna try small batches and that ONA gel too I think.

Hey what do you think about the molasses so far? I was thinking about trying it, I have the same brand in my fridge actually, but I was concerned it might attract bugs or animals outside.

Well so far, I've had nothing but positive results with the molasses. My Sour Diesel buds are realllllllly thickening up. Today when I was out there, I was kinda shocked to see how the buds have covered entire branches so far, and I've only been in flowering for about 4 weeks.

1 Tablespoon/gallon has worked well for me, and it seems other growers find that ratio to work really well too. The biggest problem you could have is that it could turn the soil you use slightly acidic. What I do to combat this is to just give the plants plain water during one of their waterings every week. So far, no ants/bugs etc....knock on wood.

I've been using Fox Farm nutes throughout the grow, although I've just been using Tiger Bloom as I ran out of Big Bloom. Big Bloom is good stuff...I should have bought more of it.

Yea, I'm gonna use the ONA gel, and buy a cheap deionizer air purifier to help dissipate the smell a bit. I'm just gonna dry 2 plants at a time, and hopefully that won't be overwhelming.

i did 1 tbsp per quart of water. and no ants. but i think you could push it to 2 tbsps per gallon easily.
I use 1 and it seems to be working I've tried 2 and did not see any difference so 1 is good
Well I'd like to use more if there is some added benefit. Right now though, I think my soil is too acidic, possibly due in part to the molasses feedings. A lotta major fan leaves are yellowing with brown specklinging on them.

If there weren't in buckets, and in the ground, I could probably have better success with two.

The Sour Diesel continues thickening. I tested a bit of it an hour and a half ago, and I still feel pretty good. :blsmoke:

I won't sample it again until we're into September, but it was interesting to see the THC change in just a few days time.

G13/Haze are developing pretty slowly, but this is expected, I suppose, with a sativa dominant parent in the Hawaiian Haze.

I'm starting to see the early stages of random bud rot, so I've been scraping and cleaning it off the branches.

Brought some more containers of water out there, made some watering decisions for when I'm gone.

Here's the video. Again, I apologize for the poor quality in viewing the indivdual bud clusters, however things will become clearer when the buds get bigger.

i used 18 gallon containers outdoor, went indoor with them too. not as useful indoors, as u can imagine. produced monsters outdoors though. lowes or menards carries them for around 15 dollars.

I've been getting high as hell from the few buds I took on Saturday.

If I had to pull all the plants now, I'd be happy enough with how far the THC has come in just the few weeks its been flowering.

Smoked one bowl today, and was really high for several hours. I can tell there is more CBD in the chemical makeup of the buds, however, because there is a severe burnout feeling hours later, which lasts several hours itself.

That's the really cool thing about marijuana in the flowering stages; the chemical changes in the psychoactive substances.

By the end of September, there should be a higher ratio of THC to CBD.

Making me wanna "accidentially" bump into a branch and breaking it off so I can do a little sampling myself, haha, jk. But for real I think I might try to tomorrow and see what's up.

Ha, well the first time last week, I did accidentally break a stem while backing into it.

This Saturday, I carefully selected a few lower branch buds purposely. I won't sample again until mid-september.

Hey man, just wondering how the molasses is treating ya. I am also growing outdoor and I am worried about it attracting bugs. How do you add it? Do you dilute it in warm water first or what?

I recently picked up some of "Grandma's" Molasses (unsulphured of course) and was wondering if it would attract pest. I already have a spider mite problem so I am going to be purchasing some Azatrol and FoxFarm's "Dont Bug Me" to take care of them.

Keep up the good work bro! :bigjoint:

Yea, I pour 1/4 cup of molasses in a container with hot water, mix it with a spoon, then pour it in those 5-gallon water containers I use. I then fill up the containers with running water, which mixes the molasses into the water very well.

Not a single problem with pests what so ever, but realize my plants are 1 1/2 feet in the air with the buckets, and not flush with the ground and ground traffic...like ants, etc.

Grandma's is the kind I'm using too. I had to ask 2 salespeople at my nearby Walmart to stock more of it because its always out. Wonder why??? Hehe. (it's available at most any grocery chain, but WalMart is sadly always cheaper)
