I'll second (or third!) the paper towel method, works every time, a good strong 'tail' in under 48hrs. The water softens the shell and helps it crack, I do tend to really soak mine.

Good luck, any 'sproutage' yet?

i think there is one coming up. i tossed a few of the pieces of perlite out of the way, and i think i seen some white plant tissue. i recovered with a few pebbles, and we shall see in about an hour when the lights come on. i normally try the paper towel method. maybe my seeds are old or just bad as well. i dont think there more than a year. if I have to I will use the seed my last plant through out in her last weeks, more positive its a female anyway. just dont want to waste it!!!

Hey fellow growers what's up!!

Well I got sproutage on one of the seeds I put down, YEA! I don't know if its f'ed up though, the roots were growing up and the coty's down. Once I noticed this I used a piece of the soil and flipped it over and put the coty's right above the soil. It sprouted saturday morning, and I have it domed in my case. I will post some pic's when I see some new growth.

Wicked news :)

The roots do grow up sometimes but as soon as they see light the plant sorts itself out, no drama.

still bagseed. i want to order some seeds, but I want to get through these issues first cause I dont want to waste my money.

yeah, i just figured out my water was very acidic. the filter only helped a little, brought it from 4 or less to about 5. i am sure this is why i had issue with my past grows. i think i am just going to buy distilled water and say fuck it. easier, and at least i dont need to worry about that being my problem.

when i get growth. i guess when the seedling grew upside down, the time the tap root spent in the light stunted it. it still hasnt grown much more. this is sucking. oh well, it is what it is.

What are your temps like? The ones I'm growing now were only a few inches for a couple of months because the heat was so high they wouldn't grow at all.

That's about where mine have been lately and they are doing great. Once tey get straightened out I bet they do fine.
