My grow in summation:
1.) Nirvana fucked me over, kinda. It's been over a month and I'm still waiting on my beans.
2.) 4' 6 bulb T5 at 351 total watts, 30k lumens (I think?) Canopy a few inches from the light
3.) Blue Mountain Organics Nutrients
4.) Medium: Sphagnum moss, perlite, blood meal, dolomite lime
5.) 4th week of veg on the big guy, 2nd week of veg on small guy.
6.) 300 PPM nutrient solution (450ish total PPM - 150 PPM from the tap after de-chlorination)
7.) I feel like growth is slow, but it could just be my lack of patience.
8.) Very squatty, bushy plant.
9.) One confirmed female

No issues, it seems. About to go out of town for 3 days, so I guess I'll just do a watering right before I leave?

Here is a tentative schedule I am using. Any thoughts? PPM's too high nearing harvest? Think I should allow two weeks for flush?

hey auzzie, hows it going?

i dont thing that ppm sound to high at all, granted i dont really know that nute line...
and as far as the 2 weeks flush, i wouldnt! cause you gain alot of wieght in the last two weeks... just a few days will work fine or you can try a final flush product...

Thanks for the input, reggae. I'll be sure to switch up the schedule to a couple day flush. I had it at two weeks because I wanted to ensure a clean smoke come harvest time. I know some growers that dont flush at all with great, great, GREAT results, but I'm a big proponent of better safe than sorry. I wish I could see a side by side journal of flush vs. no flush, and smoke reports for both. I just left today for a weekend vacation, and gave the big girl a hefty feeding of ~450 PPM (sans from-the-tap PPM) nutrient solution with Grow It Green and a half teaspoon of Super Plant Tonic (this stuff barely budges overall PPM), and I gave the smaller bagseed plant a watering as well. Hopefully I dont come back to some dead, withered plants.

your flush is critical for your flavor, to not flush would mean smokin nutrients, does that really sound good?

supplement during the flush to keep the build goin tho, Try usein black strap molasis (i havent used black strap tho, heard good things tho), i use a product from humboldt nutrients called Honey ES (and i use the hydro too) my harvest is never derpressing, LoL.

check the link in my sig.

i use a product called quality cure from the supernatural line..

what it does is reverse the transpiration causing the plant to expell all unused salts, nutes and water, and only takes 6 to 12 hrs of flush...
the plants dry faster and the smoke is totally clean...

I'll have to look into this product. I will be giving a full update later on, but I think my laptop died so I may be forced to RIT via my phone.

Update:

The Blackberry is into it's fourth week. I came back from vacation and it was droopy as fuck. It needed a nice drink, so I gave it some de-chlorinated water (no nutes) to flush the soil of all the salts clogged up in the grow medium. Runoff PPM came out at around 570, so there are still plenty of nutrients in the medium until I feed it again (probably 2 days from now). I am still fairly suprised about how short she is, despite her bushiness. Here are some pictures from today:

When I came back, I saw the bottom two most leaves were yellowing and dying off where more new branching was starting. So I trimmed off those two leaves to allow more light to undergrowth.

Bagseed #1:
This is a couple days into its second week of life. This brown mold/mildew/something started to develop while I was gone. Whatever it is, was probably due to extremely high temperatures in the closet while I was gone. When I walked into my room for the first time back from vacation, the temperatures were hitting around 100 degrees Fahrenheit. This could possibly be heat stress? I just figured it would effect other leaves as well. What do you think?

Also, while I was away, I grabbed a couple things that I couldn't pass up due to their low price. I grabbed some Fox Farm Ocean Forest for future seeds, a liter/quart (not sure which) of Advanced Nutrients Nirvana (100% Organic) as well as some Botanicare Silica Blast (Not sure if it's organic or not, but I doubt it), a 2.5" air stone, 8 neoprene plugs, a 5 gallon bucket lid. The guy at the hydro store hooked it up! When I dropped around 70 bucks or so on all this, he threw in 4 issues of Rosebud magazine ($7 per issue value - high-res photos inside), a bag of myco spores, and an organic feeding pack (buried into the soil at transplant). Not only this, the guy talked me out of buying a more expensive product. After grabbing my Nirvana bottle, I walked past the Rhino Skin and decided to take a look and see what made this shit worth 35 dollars. Before I could even finish reading the ingredients, the shop owner said, "Silica Blast is the same thing and less than half the price." Silica blast came to 15 bucks, and he had no problems telling it like it is.

I'm about to start some more beans here soon. And by the way, still have yet to receive my package from Nirvana. I will be sending them an email tomorrow.

Thanks reggae, it only cost me 8 bucks too. Had an old air pump laying around the house as well as some tubing. Any advice on my mold/mildew problem? I excised it, which may kill the seedling but oh well.

yea that problem with the leaves looks like its caused by heat and high humidity.. i got the same prob in my mom room right now only on lower leaves.. but i bought a new fan so just need time to install it now.. for now the door will just have to stay open..

Thanks, yo. +Rep in 24 hours when I can rep you again. I figured it had to do with heat. I usually open the polyfilm everyday when lights come on, but when I was gone for the weekend, I'm sure temps got HOT!

If my girl soaked up enough water last night, I may be giving her the first feeding of Nirvana and Silica Blast today. Also, threw three seeds into a wet paper towel last night, hoping they will pop by tomorrow.
