Herbal.. i soak mine for 24/48hrs in a little warm water in a cup then put it in my cupboard ,its not dark but it aint bright either by then most of them are out. I soaked some on window sill an they were fine.

Sometimes you get bad seeds or they have been stored wrong..

no idea what it is, but it's skinny and super tall. all budds are stuck to the long stem, and only on the bottom there are some side branches. It looks like some skunk but I don't know.

do you have any pics ? Sounds likt that need some lst or topping.. None of my plants reach over my chest and im under 6ft , i have seen some 6ft monsters though but tied plant was tied up all over the place cause of the side branches. Have a look at LST see if it helps you out ,i always do it now..

yes I have the same problem :( my ak47 germinated no problem but the ww is no where close, I think I may try the sand paper method as posted above ( maybe a new Bach ) so the shell is harder to crack for the seed.

If else fail, I hear you can crack the seed, take a picture, send a clam saying my seed came broken ( Don't say you germinate as its illegal ) and they will resend you a new seed.

bah.. I got my plants it's all good, I'm not in for free stuff :) but still I can't help but wonder why out of all 10 seeds, not one sprouted... not a single one....

ya soaking the seeds in distilled water for no more than 24 hours helps penetrate the shell and spark outward growth. Dont presoak for more than 24 hours though or you risk rotting. Also make sure that the seeds arent in complete dark when you place them in the paper towel or cloth. Just a shady area with good ventilation (like on top of a refrigerator), Prolonged darkness of seeds will cause lanky rootlet growth.

ya just boil water for a little let it cool to room temp and that should do the trick. and keeping them in the dark doesnt hurt them, just causes lanky rootlet growth

That sux ass!

Try this. Get a matchbox the old kind that are actually little boxes or something comparable. Cut a small piece of fine sandpaper that will fit in the box. Take the seeds out of the package and place them in the lil' box and shake em up. The sandpaper will scuff the hard shell of the seed allowing moisture to penetrate.
Take a paper towel folded into quarters, place it on a plate and using DISTILLED water moisten don't soak the paper towel. If you do get the paper towel too wet grab another one and fold it up in the same manner and press it on to the wet paper towel this will help soak up excess water. Now you have two moistened towels. Unfold the wet paper towel once so it is still folded in half and place your seeds inside (you can easily put 8 seeds in each towel of course keep your strains seperate) fold the towel over on top of them so they are completely covered. Next grab a sealable sandwich bag and place the wet paper towel inside the sandwich bag and seal it up making sure to press out any air (not quite vaccuum sealed but close). Place the bag or bags on a plate and use another plate as a cover, and keep them somewhere warm. I put them on a heat mat up on the shelf in my veg room. I set my temp gauge to 78 deg. F or so. After three days the lil tail is attached to and often times growing through the paper towel. They don't need air they need moisture and heat to germinate. Air will cause them to mold. I have had seeds that would not germ at all (strangely it is always the free seeds that attitude gives away that never germ) I just throw them out not much you can do about that. I have found this method to work extremely well, pretty much guaranteed. Good luck.

well , Try another Batch of White widow from another seed bank , thats all i can say , you seem to have done most right, even if not all right, still would have germinated ...

sry to hear ! sometimes theres bad batchs ..

but i have seen seeds with white spots ect, and thats just the kind that it is , i say , keep them going and going, whats the worse that can happend, BE no good? Lol you think that already so , no pain in keeping them moist for another 2 weeks.
