hey dez nice to see you enjoying the fruits of your labor ive pretty much sold out in my travels yesterday i ran onto some stuff called purple cadillac & hopefuly im gonna get a baby of it it is the deepest purple & grape taste i have ever seen gotta have it purple reigns king around here higher price & more demand its just good business

I have a small Purple Haze plant going that I just repotted yesterday into a 3gal grow bag. I waited too long to do it so it was root bound a bit and starting to yellow from deficiency. It's already looking better today though so I think it'll be a good plant in the end.

I've got an area almost ready for plants at the new place that's built to be a 6'x6' with two 600s on a light rail but I'm going to use it as a 4'x8' for now with a single 1K on the light rail. I'll move the vert room once it's empty and will be replacing the 1K with the 600s that are in the vert after the first round under the 1K is done. It's looking like I'll have a Cataract Kush, 2 Headbands, 1 White Widow, 1 Jack Herer, one other that I can't remember if it's Jack Herer or White Widow, and 3 Afghan Kush under the 1K (9 plants). I have a few other plants but don't think they'll be ready in time. I figure I'll start with them all close together and then I can turn on the mover if I need to spread them out as they grow and they'll all get good coverage.

I want to try my hand at a Scrog and plan on using the Purple Haze and a couple of DOG (thanks DST) plants for it. If they really take off now that they're repotted I'll put them under the 1K with the other 9 but don't want to be adding plants once I start the cycle to try and keep a fairly even canopy.

I've got a little over 30 clones going right now with the hopes of filling up the vert after I move it over there for one big run. I'll have to wait and see how it plays out but that's the idea. The youngest plant in the vert right now has been in there for about 2 weeks so I think it may work out good timewise for the clones to get about a 4 week veg in before they go in the vert. Ought to make for a full room, hehe.

I've been tossing up the idea of a scrog aswell, it just seems a little more tricky with different strains. I really want to give it a try though so I'll probably be doing it my next grow aswell!!! What kind of screen do you plan on using?

I'm not sure what I'll use yet but have seen many different types. As far as when there's multi strain grows you use one screen for each plant individually. I got the idea from Las Fingerez on here. He's got one going right now that looks awesome.
I'll attach a screen of some sort to the plant itself or to the pot and start training the plant that way.

I have a net for training plants made of twine, some chicken wire, orange plastic construction fence and some plastic netting for gardens. Not sure which I'll use though.

awww ur making me blush lol, i also got the idea off here so glad the knowlage is spreding :)

wasnt to keen on the chicken wire, have u seen my screen recently? i reckon she would either grow "around" the thin wire or cut it? i was thinking about that construction fence stuff, its actually what i was looking for in homebase but they didnt have any. just some ideas bro :) good luck which ever u may decide ;)

I get mine from White Cap since I have an account there but Home Depot sells it too. I think they may only sell it with stakes in it or something like that though. I saw some cool looking stuff at Lowe's the other day that looks like it would work pretty good that's plastic, green and had good spacing. It was in there outside garden area.

I jarred up the buds today ad they weighed in at a little over 4oz of good bud between the 3 plants. I have a tray full of trim and small airy buds from the backside of the autos too so there should be some more butter and maybe some hash in my future.
The Haze auto gave me 58g, the RR was small at 26g and the Afghan weighed in at 37g.

I'm expecting them to lose a little more weight durin cure bit should still be damn close to 4oz. I'm pretty stoked with it considering the Afghan stayed soo small.

I keep forgetting to make some edibles since I've got stuff going on during the day and then don't really sleep at night so I need to get on it. I actually have some butter already but cant seem to remember to make anything with it.

I'm in need of a dehumidifier at the moment too since it's been raining constantly here and the humidity is through the roof. I've got it under control int the grow rooms but I am trying to dry and cure the bud and it's not easy with the air being so damp. It seemed ready yesterday to in jars and this morining its really wet again. More so than any other cure I've done to date.

I'm just spending too much money already on the new place though so won't be able to get away with buying one right now. hmmm, what to do?

Be very very careful.Sounds like mold is around the corner..

hey dez try a 5gal bucket / rocksalt ductfan pull or push air through type of gizmo. i invested in some querkle seeds today ive gotta get tome purple on board

hey dez i live on the edge of the san-joaquin delta lotsa fog & high humidity every winter so-far no mold issues but had a hell of a time drying this time finaly hung it in our travel trailer & used a small electric heater with a built in thermostat to dry my stuff it worked great & by the time it dried [about 8 days] it had a nice sticky cure to it no complaints everyone loved it

I thought about something similar to that yoday. I burped the jars just now and it's not bad, a little moist compared to what it should be but I don't think it's anything to worry over. I'm going to rig up something to try and speed things along though a bit so I don't have to wait a month to get my toke on. If I can get it ready by New Years I'll be happy. I'll be sampling it in a couple of days but want to wait unitl it cures for the majority of it.
