Hi from another soggy southeast Queenslander, it's probably best to stick to this thread for any info you need - otherwise you get all sorts of useless advice to buy what we can't buy or to shop where we can't shop.
It is strange how the yanks seem to assume that the world ends at their coastline and everyone on the forum lives in the States.

Oh so true G.O.D.

odlaw - here is the photos of the pots for you its self explanatory, they can hold plenty of weight, im around 95 kgs and can sit on it with no movement, flex or strain on the bottom pot, i will get my mrs to take a pic once home with me sitting on it, so you can verify the fact it holds perfect, the lip cant slip through, its about 1/4 lip holding it.
* nice one on your seeds coming today also, sounds like a sensational strain, will be interested to see how they go man, hope to see a few pics and a report when you get them going. *

UPDATE 7.3.2011 - couple of days away from being ready.........

Massive Rep to odlaw, he helped me get my bug issue under control within 6 hours, no stress to the plant either, it has ripened quite alot overnight, 80% of all white hairs are now brown and the trichomes are cloudy, the first sign of an amber tinge and shes ready to be manicured and hung. it should have one last burst of growth to and fatten a lil more over next 2 days. Photos dont do it justice, it really does look amazing in the sunlight, it looks like its dripping with resin, all the buds glisten in the sunlight, its a nice cross strain, as an idea of size, the main cola is as thick as my forearm and as long, most of the other upper colas are nugs lil smaller than fist size, then theres some popcorn buds towards bottom. The trim from mnanicuring will make some good hash, its pretty frosty...

All timers you purchase whether they are hard wired or plug in will be rated to 10A.
I recommend the use of a contactor just for the lights at the start up current will generally exceed 10A, and given most appliances come from China these days, it'll likely harm the timer. Other than that you have no issues running everything else directly off of the timer if under 10A of load. HID lights are of most concern and as stated above will need a contactor to reduce start-up load on the timer.

There are 2 different type of timers. 7 day timers, and 24 hour timers. Effectively the 7 day times allow you to set 24 hour settings, but you have the ability to change them for each day pending whether or not each day's setting is going to be different.
By the sound of things, all you will require is a 24 hour timer

If he is making a stinkbud system with sprayers he need the sprayers to run for 1 of every five minutes to the timer needs to be able switch o and off in 5 minute intervals, which no retail or commercial timer i could find would do, so I switched to bubbleponics.

Yeah thats it chunky, Sittin and I were chatting the other day about it, this would require us to have a timer capable of doing 480 or so "on & off's" per day....i need a sparky who knows how to build one. as i wanted to follow stinkbuds timing intervals.

Sorry Hoochy maybe you didnt understand me?
