If he is making a stinkbud system with sprayers he need the sprayers to run for 1 of every five minutes to the timer needs to be able switch o and off in 5 minute intervals, which no retail or commercial timer i could find would do, so I switched to bubbleponics.

I can guarantee you this sorted of timer is readily available off the shelf at any electrical supplier. In-fact most reticulation places stock whats called a 'pulse' controller. What this does is turns off and on in pulses similar to what your trying to do here. The electrical timer that does this sort of thing is a digital timer... Analogue timers certainly won't do this, but digital 24hr timers can be set for 1 minute intervals. However, nothing of this nature is designed to run this constant so your bound to have hiccups at some stage. Even contactors would burn out in these intervals. Initally and for a long period of time I can't see it being a problem, however you'd be faced with replacement parts at some stage.
I don't actually know what a bubbleponic system is to be honest? I'm going to assume it runs on the same principle as aeroponics? Would love to know more about what your talking about and what exactly it does to understand your needs. If you can provide me with this information I may be able to compile a list of parts or compile a system (electrically) that should do what your trying to do.

I run my inline fan and HID on a single mech timer from a LEAST a decade ago and still going strong BUTTTTT its only time till it fucks up so better look into your little contact thing.



On a side note, my water pump fucked up the other day (and in doing so flooded my grow room) so i took it apart to see what was wrong. In doing so i fixed it but i also saw how it works. My god its a clever idea. Being a submersible you can't get the electronics wet so instead the prop shaft is housed in an electromagnet housing and the electronics are on the outside of this house but in a concealed area. I donno to me its such a clever idea. Its basically using the prop shaft as the motor as its magnetic and the coil would spin around the housing causing the shaft to turn.......Simple yet so cool imho lol.

Hi guys you can get the timers like that from DHS on ebay.... On stink buds vids, (I love them), you need a timer that got the ability to turn off 288 times a day... I've done the math...lol... Every 5 mins is 288 times a day... I have a whole bit in one of my journals on this particular timer, it was about a year ago... They're not the cheapest but they're industrial... I thought of getting one when I was building my aerocloner... That was a huge disaster, but that's another story... I'm sorry I don't have the information anymore at my fingertips, I tend not to keep stuff like that....

I do have 2 questinons I hope someone can help with. Im pretty well all set with my tent, however my tent didn't come with the light hangers, neither did the light or reflector, what do you guys use for hanging your lights?. I have a 400w HPS with reflector. Im just worried about using any old string, I want something sturdy that is easy to adjust as needed. Any recomendations??
Also, im trying to wait patiently for seeds to arrive, I originally ordered easy rider, and sent cash unregistered (stupid I know I know) and still the tracker says 'waiting for payment' grr, anyway I grew impatient and after reading around realised it was easy to use the credit card, and have now bought some pride of amsterdam seeds on wednsday just gone, and by thursday they were marked as shipped, so if all goes well I should have them in the next 3-7 days.

Now after all this I have just been offered a healthy female clone for $80, I have no idea if this is reasonable or not, and I've already spent more than I wanted on seeds, but in the back of my mind I think I cant be 100% these seeds will arrive until there in my hot little hands, so I guess im just gonna get it, I want something growing like yesterday, and after all this rambling (sorry) but finally my question is how high should the light be at this stage. All I know so far is its well rooted and healthy, im unsure of how many days old.

Ohh if you sent cash through mail its gonna take some time, i sent cash through registered mail to the attitude last year and it took like a month for the actuall seeds to arrive here in melbourne, good thing i ordered a shitload of strains all in the one order lol
$80 for a clone seems pricey but that being said you wont find clones anywhere in australia without knowing anyone so a far fetched price like $80 seems bout right not that i'd pay that much for a clone myself what strain is it do you know?

Most of the pricks who sell weed wont part with clones or seeds for anything, they just want my money rolling in and if im growing my own they wont get that from me anymore.
So this clone, as big a rip off that it is, is the best, and all I can get locally Forgot to ask before, how did you go with the floods?

i know clones go for an ave of $50 in melbourne but the couple i got rid off i gave away personally i would rather see peeps growing good smoke than worrying bout making a couple extra bucks

as for your lights ozgirl go to bunnings and buy some nylon cord or small link chain and there is ussually somewhere on the light/reflector assembly u can un screw a bolt at eaither end and attach chain to each end and screw the bolts/nuts back in

Thanks for asking but the floods came no where near me, and as I rarely leave the suburb where I live I wasn't even slightly inconvenienced. In fact if it wasn't for the TV I wouldn't have known about it (j/k).

It's a real pity that we live in a world full of paranoia, it would be great to be able to swap or trade clones, seeds and pollen with no fear of getting seriously fucked over.
A couple of days ago I destroyed two perfectly healthy fully rooted clones simply because I didn't need them, an L.S.D and a Red Dragon. I'll probably be throwing away a Tangerine Dream seed grown plant in a couple of weeks - shameful waste of a good plant, just because it is the least impressive of two that I grew.
Both the L.S.D. and the Red Dragon are still alive and well on my mother plant.

I'd buy some for $10 a clone and even fem seeds you've made, you got some pretty decent strains going atm. A clone trade really would bring down expenses. I got a few mates with large properties that smoke I was going to sell some hardy clones to (afghani, skunk, Northern lights) and show how to grow outdoors, problem is I don't know how to bypass them telling people who they bought their clones from because they all couldn't keep a secret if they tried. for the sake of ~$50 and me trying to help a mate it isn't worth it, fines would be more and a possible criminal record.

Anyways onto bubbleponics, it is essentially a bigger bubble cloner you place a single plant into in a net pot filled with hydroton clay pebbles, you can run less nutes they are easy to clean, the plant grows like crazy and so far it is the simplest to make and relatively secure growing system, moreso than my original plan of grrowing Aeroponics that would require I had a UPS hooked up to the pumps.

Coco/perlite on drippers is the easiest, but honestly it's to messy for me to grow large plants in though I do use it for my hempy pots.


Also All QLD growers look up Qmerit, if you get caught and do it (and lower your drug use) it'll essentially negate any repercussions, I have mates who were done for trafficking (pounds of the stuff) they did it and got off conviction free and with the minimum fine, and most were on 3rd or more major drug offenses.

lol i answered your question in relation to those two fans a couple of days ago....i mathematically worked out for you, your grow room size and suitable fan sizing to use......
Those two fans i said was plenty for your 3 x 3 x 2 room (assuming they are 240V not 12V PC fans)
....Now you have significantly reduced your room size and still using the same fans....dude what can i say but THEY'RE FINE....hahaha lol

Good job on setting up a seperate area...and yeah it will help heaps if you can light proof it

used panda film i had laying round for the sides of the room an some black plastic for the roof and floor

should i get some more panda or or mylar fil for the floor aan roof or will what i got be fine.

The floor you dont worry too much about trying to reflect that too much? Your plants will utilize the light footprint the lights give out.... see if you can insulate it tho, some floors can get way too cold for root systems to properly thrive, my mate went to bunnings and found this reflective insulated bubble wrap stuff...works sweet. as for the floors if you have spare panda film, by all means go ahead and use it. be sure to try and make a spill area that is contained away from any power leads that may be near, ive had piss heads set jobs up for me at work before and farrrk me hahahaha LOL, nah all good shagz you'll be right!!

you said floors twice mate witch is panda film for the roof and insulated shit for the floor?

i did't clean the wood either i just sanded it the heat created by sanding would have killed anything yeah?

all my power cords ballast etc are about 1meter off the ground on my bench mate

yeah insulate the floor, reflect the roof......
im gonna go and have another 4 and then come back and prentend that the heat caused by the friction of sanding will kill anything let alone spores!!!! lol




.....Nah the sanding did two fist's of fuck all, but i bet it looks good! over 100 degress celsius (steam is great) and disifectant will kill mould spores, Sandpaper wont

Cheers Lacey, thats alright as i am just in the 'gathering info stage' see i can collect the parts over a period of time and then build it. i would love a whole new setup regarding my timers and yes involving several programable sequence's would be very handy

Oh dear, ok so it turns out this plant is a seedling, not a clone. So ofcourse I dont want to bother to pay so much with the risk of winding up with a male. My friend agreed and said I could have it for free and reward them at a later date if it is a female.
So now I have this young plant which I was planning to put straight into my ebb and flow, using clay balls. However it is in soil eeek, is it possible to transfer from soil to clay balls, and if so how can I do it. I really didnt want to bother with pots and soil.
