oh,,sorry,,forgot to mention that my new DIY CoolTube Cab is ready,,and good timing,,as I'd like to get these 9 babies under that 430 watt Son Agro HPS light after there 7 days old,,I'm gonna post the construction and shit used in DIY as soon as the pics are in order,,in case anyone else was thinkin of a build,,all comments and advice are HoLE-heartedly welcome

Day 6

whats happenin fellow rollitupper's,here are my 9 lil babies on day 6,,tomorrow makes a week,,gonna start some light veg nutes,,I have some DNF Veg Fortifier that helps build lush healthy foliage and strong stems,,and also some Piranha Beneficial Fungi that helps build root mass,,there are a couple of other Advanced Nutes I would like to use as well that I will list after I get them,,so I will try to pick them up on the way home from work,,all comments and advice are welcome

Ya, hole that looks like a nice closet you got there. ur babys are looking mighty good too. getting some sensi star x northern lights seeds in a few days. ooh wee i cant wait.

Day 7

well they made it a week,,thats a good sign,,here's a top and side view as usual,,but take a look at the last 2 pics,, and give any opinions as to why 8 of these babies second set of finger leaves coming out,,start out blood red like a vien or something and are slowly turning to green as they open and get larger,,and why on 1 only,,the second set of leaves are,,and came out pure green,,any opinions would be appreciated

hey people,,what's growin on,,I can tell you my babies had a couple bad days,,the leaves were totally curling down and in,,I thought maybe I had overwatered,,so I let them dry a bit since Day 7,,turns out they needed a transplant,,in the pics you can see the roots were poking through the HoLE in the bottom of the starter containers like whiskers,,,I just didn't think they would root that much in 7-8-9 days,,anyway,,,

Day 10

here they are,,10 days old with room to grow,,so I put em under the hps(24/7),,freshly transplanted,,i hope to see an improvement in a day or two,,they are in fresh Pro-Mix which was pre-saturated and left to settle,,I am currently mixing a light batch of veg nutes that will include some DNF Veg Fortifier,,and some Piranha Beneficial Fungi,,I pre-watered the medium,,and will just add a lil shot of the juices directly to the immediate plant area,,hopefully they bounce back,,,,all comments and advice are welcome

i had the same problem and it was ph and over watering i started checking ph and let them dry way out before watering again, for some reason transplanting them has seemed to work? My thread with bertha and helga you should have seen them a month and a half ago. I had a thread about it but i cant find it now with the forum acting all funny?

im just a bit concerned you went so big concidering the overwatering possibility

welcome to The New Beginning kaya,,and thxs for your concern,,much appreciated,,they were dropped and germinated right in those lil seed starters,,they are about 2 inches tall,,I packed the Mix in them and put the seed about 3/4 of an inch in,,the pic of roots was the first one I did,,and ended up being about the third smallest amount of root,,most had roots poking right outta the dirt on top,,and I didn't water for 2 days and it was very light,,,hmmm,,too big,,you mean the containers there in now,,or just that I went for the transplant?thxs again

well it looked like you put them in one gal pots or something? That just seemed big for plants so small that you thought may have an overwatering problem. Until they settle in i would just make sure the soil down lower doesnt stay wet for long periods of time?

hope they bounce back soon, how old are they

thxs for getting back kaya,,they are 10 days old and those pots are 8 inches,,I'm not sure in gallons:roll: ,,,,,the Pro-Mix is supposed to be good stuff for retaining while not being soaked,,I hope it is,,maybe we should set-up a hotline:mrgreen:

12 hours after transplanting shows great improvement,,the first pic is last night before,,front left corner,,#1 was curled so bad it's leaf tips were touching,,kinda the shape of a heart,,how fitting since Valentines Day just passed,,second pic is 12 hours later,,it seems to be picking itself up,,wheww,,,all comments welcome
