WEEK 4 from 12/12 not much happened :/

alright i started i started 12/12 and on the 4th day i started to see really small pre flowers growing then for 3 weeks i was just waiting for them to get all hairy but this didn't happen for ages just started to get some hairs growing about 3 or 4 days ago just wondering how long this will take to turn into buds ? and i only have a 45W and two 20W red spectrum cfl bulbs but i am taking them out side every day to get a good few hours of sunlight

those look like almost pure Sativa which take a long time to finish, 12 weeks minimum.
buds take a couple of weeks to form after pistils show.

yh there just some bag seeds i have got from some brick weed really hoping its better than that shit. yh i was expecting around 12 weeks and prepared for a couple more, but i was just getting worried because on other threads people hav had bud formation from week 2 and i'm on my 4th and only getting hairs :S so my plants should bud but just in there own time?
and also what has been worrying me is the size of my leaves , there tiny compared to the usual weed plants do u think this is because of the small box i have kept them in? and is this bad?

the size of the leaves tell me that its just reaaaaly sativa.
if you got it out of brick weed, its genetics are very likely to be a big mexican sativa, or asian skunk plant, so the leaves will be really really thin like that.

yh there quite short aswell though and i had another plant in that box but it got too big for the box but now its in my garden the size of the leaves are increasing,
what kind of bud am i going to get from a 100% sativa plant ? like what kind of high and what will it look like ?

well, how big is that pot, like whats the scale of this plant?
a sativa high is very cerebral, a lot describe it as being more energetic, and racy, or more trippy. this is beacause the difference between sativa and indica plants are the chemicals that are in the resin [tricombs] indicas are more like sleepy, sloww couchlocking high.

can you see in the picture the plant is not very tall but most of the surface area of the pot has been taken up by my LST i think i have around 16 tops growing on that 1 plant
and yh it does help because that is the kinda high i like on most occasions because unless i get a little antisocial lol
so do you think its normal for my plant to have flowered this late ? because it could of been due to light leaks although i am unsure if i had light leaks but it could of been possible, now i cover my box in a sheet when it changes to the dark cycle just in case

by size do you mean narrowness ? that's typical of a Sativa, and they don't make big colas like other strains and they take longer to bud up also.

no not just the narrowness there pretty short as well i'd roughly say that the bigger leaves on my plant are only about 8 cm and as i said i moved one of my other plants outside after being inside full time and that plants leaves have increased quite allot, quite happy out of the 4 plants i have 3 have turned out to be female and 1 still has not shown sex
also wile your here for my outside plants i was wondering if i could flower them earlier by putting a box or something to block out the light for the few hours extra darkness i will need 2 flower ??

It's perfectly normal to happen upon a "late bloomer" we find them everywhere.
It will finish eventually. The only thing that might help it along would be more light. But thats only if you can control the temperature.

Yeah, that looks like pure Mexican. Buckle in, your in for a long ride! They will keep stretching for a bit too, are you in soil? That will help slow it down.

i would like to have more light maybe get a HPS but at the moment i will have to stick with what i've got for money reasons and i 100% wouldn't b able to keep temps down as i am struggling at the moment . all i can do at the moment is try to take my plants out side as much as possible, i have been told that this will help my plants a lot

yh i'm growing in soil how long do you think i have left as i have vegged for 5 weeks and now on my 4th week from 12/12 and only have had hairs for about 5 days

its going to seem like forever. my first grow flowered for 13 weeks........ i almost killed myself. but its worth it, soo worth it. have fun!
also, can we see some picture comparing the leaves of the plant you said is outside to this one? just a though, it might help.

right? i can picture a 10' monster out in the desert with those leaves.
