Can't see your pic, but is your cutting getting sufficient light? Really helps promote pupping.
How often are you watering? Once a nice root system is established, they love to be watered frequently. Feeding them a high P fert is very beneficial too.
ill try the 45 degree angle on my next cutting.. I have another san p. Thats about 22" .
Yeah man, I really have no idea if that will help. I'm sure it's a culmination of things that promote puppage. All we can do is give them the best homes we can, right?![]()
I think doesn't matter the way you cut the angle on the cutting to get more pups, I think it just depends on the overall conditions and health of the cacti and its roots..upon inspection of the san p. today I found that it was showing another pup forming and I did a 90degree cut but 45degree have the advantage of letting the any water run off the cut and prevent rot.
