I made another run yesterday out of buds only. Have enough for 2 more runs.

Same jack herer but this came out darker, harder and strnger. I've got my system down now.

My dish is pretty full lol.

Edit: look what I just ordered http://aqualabtechnologies.com/concentrate-utensils/green-goddess-clear-mini-vapor-bubbler.html

Awesome!! You used the tube I made for ya to extract it I assume? :) :) Wish you let me know on that bubbler, I could have made you that for probably about $60. :) They are wicked easy when its just clear glass like that! Granted they do take 90 minutes but still, pretty un-complex stuff!

researchkitty, your work is clean, if you can get your wigwags a little tighter and closer you could be making some high dollar pieces. ill post some of our work at studio broadway, as soon as i go to work tonight ill take pictures and post them
Thanks man. My benderbacks, rather than wigwags, are a little loose right now as a result of working very thick. When I do benderbacks on thinner tubing they can get wobbly or even fold a little bit if I'm not careful. I'm sure that will improve with skill and practice. (For those in the peanut gallery, benderbacks are the same thing as a wigwag, except a benderback does the wig and the wag in one motion rather than two motions for normal wigwag production).

I can do the wigwags as opposed to benderbacks, its about the same thing as doing a spiral on a double layered reversal. But, for the double layered windowed reversals I'll *NEED* to work thinner......... Practice practice practice lol............

Look forward to seeing your studio pics!

I know kitty imn sorry I didn't know you could make that stuff cuz I been waitin for u to make bongs.

But I shoulda said somethin, it was kinda spur of the moment. I just got excited and bought it, it may be more expensive than u could hook it up for but its the cheapest oil bubbler on the whole site lol. I looked.

And I coulda got a ti skillet but then id need to buy a bong for it and I didn't want somethin without water like a normal oil pipe.

But the tube works great, done 3 runs already. Oil dish is very full. Still have 1 run to do but gonna wait till I deplete the reserves.

I actually do need another dish kitty, I wanted to keep my 2nd and 3rd run seperate from my first cuz I used straigt buds the 2nd 3rd time n it is stronger but I just put it all together.

I can hook ya up on another oil dish! See any in the pics you like? Custom dish? Pick a size! It can hold a gallon of oil if you like but that might be some $$$$$$$$$ lol

Id like another one like the green one, just a differentcolor.

Also gonna need a few replacement nails won't I?

Are they a standard size?

I think you mean the nails where you put the oil on it then dab it to the oil domes nail. Nails are nails. They are easy to make, only a few minutes, and I sell em wicked cheap. They can be any size even ten feet long if you like. :) The most important thing to a nail is that the END of it that you stab in oil is very, very thin and it be about an inch long. That way its much easier to "dab" the oil on. If the nail ever gets broken on the end, it should be easy enough to snip off. Just twirl it on a rock or something rough and hard and it'll grind back to a nice fine point quickly.

The other type of nail, the one that goes in the dome which is the part you get hot, those are ALL different sizes. They are generally made to fit the oil dome. I dont think this is what you meant, but if it is, I can do them just need measurements of existing nail from the top to the bottom and then from the pegs that hold it on the slide to the bottom.

I dont have any more of the green tubing, I used it all up and sold everything made from it except a sherlock still............ I can make MORE of it, but it would take a few days before I could ship it, or if you'd like another color scheme that works too. I'd like to get another 5 or 6 vac stacks pulled (which means tubing ready to make dishes with) that way I have a good assortment.............

Right now the only tubing I have that is good for dishes is this stuff:

I actually did mean the nail inside the globe that you heat up, i kinda got the impression they dont last very long?

But I wouldn't mind havein an extra dabber on hand too. I been usin the hell outta the dabber n paddle lol. Its my only way to smoke right now.

And I got tired of my 15$ torch so I went and bought a 90$ EXCALIBER! torch, heat gun, soldering iron. Its fucking badass and looks like a lightsaber. Goes to 2500 degrees which is 2x hotter than a cheap torch.

And as for the dish, whatever u have on hand kitty I'm not picky. U have good taste I trust your decision.

Aaaah Dabber. Thats the term I was missing. I kept calling them nails. :)

So the REAL nails, I'll need measurements of your existing nail, or if you buy a dome from me I'll just make a bunch of extras. The dome nails never really break unless their poorly made OR if you use too much heat on it (like from a propane/oxygen torch like I do) OR if your scraping resipoo out of it with too much force............. I'll get some stuff made up soon to show ya. :)

Just ran some oil

The one on the left is going in your dish.... well some of it... you estimated it could hold 10-20g? I'm not so sure about that.... The left one is right at 10g, not sure if the rasta dish could fit like half that!

Kitty next time go for the wideeee dishes rather than narrow and tall, think ash trey (if you wanna hold 10-20  I'm thinking quantity)....

That being said, I dig my dish. Very unique.

The pipe I liked the most though, color combos are even better in person.

Thanks!

Awesome man! I'm glad you got them safely and like it. The spoon for your buddy is way cooler than the dish, but that's the sparkly bling in it for sure. :)

On the subject of how much each one can hold, its a guess by me for sure! I'm used to having one or two grams of oil at once. Right now I have a home depot 5 gallon bucket full of plants I didnt want to sell and they are all getting oiled. Please let me know what you think the actual capacity for the dish is that way I can better market them and have a better idea. :)

I would have guess left was 5g and right was 3g. :)

I'm finding out now..

The issue is that because it's so steep I have to wait for my oil to melt down to the bottom before I can put more in and really fill it... also I have to roll up little things of oil or break my big chunk into small chunks to get it in there..

once its in there it should be nice though :)

& I weighed both of the oils... the one on the right is 3.5 and the one on the left is 10... for the tangerine dream oil I had about 16g of trim and added in another 7g of shake from my cure jars.

It almost makes me want to turn most of my nugs into oil... almost....

Do you make large heady sectional pieces?
If I do, it'll be pictured here for sure. :) I'm just about to start on some windowed reversals with double rballs outside rainbow inside an the balls are fade to clear ice and fade to clear fire. That'd be a 3pc worked piece, probably make it into a sherlock or some crafty spoon. Stay tuned. :)

bridges are your friend. ;)
I had *just* tried my first 5 bridges with 2pc sherlocks from the talkglass tutorial............ Then I tried a vac stack and have been working with that tubing primarily. But, I can only make so many wigwag spoons and oil dishes before they get pieced up and put together, so that bridging will be top of this months list...............

Nice new avatar ;)
