i think the hardest hitters are type r's and k20's. you can also swap a motor from the acura tl type s. Thinking of swapping that into my car soon.
but really u can make any b series fast bro, like b20vtec have the most tq on the bseries family. you can go with ls vtec. give me any engine ill make that bitch into a 9second car.

k20s are too expensive at the moment i do understand there own potential. that being said i think the b18c1 suits me best i would like to go all motor, but there is something about that sexy BOV sound valve

The lotus elise (the most popular lotus, the one people think is some great machine) makes a whole 190hp (OOOOH NOOOO LOOK OUT!)! It is a joke! it corners OKAY, NOT GREAT JUST OKAY! and the Corvette is a heavy 2wd piece of junk! (Look at my corvette, I can do a sweet burn out! But OHHHH wait, when I'm coming out of a corner I cant really put my foot down on the gas pedal with out breaking traction and spinning out, I have to wait until my car is almost straight again!) Way to pick a couple jokes of cars to say they are the shit! I have under 20k in my impreza wagon and it Shits all over corvetts, lotus's and ferarris! Also built a civic hatch (jdm civic type R swap and turbo) I would crap all over those pieces of junk! I go with an import like my impreza wagon over 400hp at the wheel, all wheel drive and almost half the weight of some junk corvette! My dad found out what happens when you put a 505hp corvette Z06 up against a 400hp subaru wagon! the corvette gets left standing at the light and gets taken on the outside (not just the inside of the corners) at Pacific raceway every time we go (the old seattle international reaceway SIR) I've had my wagon up against over 15 corvettes and a few ferarris and not a single one has even thought about hanging with me! (light to light or the track). bring out the AWD lambos or a nissan skyline (new one or an old one that is built) and I'll have some competition!

Ohh and I'd like to see a corvette or lotus in a little dirt!

Well thats your opinion that you like american muscle better, which is okay i like all types of cars which i mean porsche, honda,acura, lamborghini lexus etc and the list goes on.
Plus that corvette wont have impresive numbers at the tracks.

The grand National was not Supercharged....It was a Turbocharged v-6......Just reading some of the responses on this thread has led me to believe you guys don't know too much about cars LOL

I'd have to agree and i know nothing myself , just a whole bunch of large ego's bumping around, you get great cars from both groups, sure you get some god awful imports but you laso get some monsters, in the same way sure you have some great domestic cars, and some some monstrosities.

Yeah exactly, so you're telling me you whooped the dudes ass with just an intake, headers, and exhuast on a stock motor? What are you running b16? b18? k series? My buddies turbo g35 has no problem leaving k series frankenstein builds in the dust. And from what I've heard a k series frank is one of the most powerful honda setups you can have (from the start, not counting forced induction or bolt ons). So I'm guessing dudes g35 was super slow or he doesn't know how to drive his car. Unless you car isn't as stock as you say it is.

There is always some wicked hate between imports and domestics. I've seen amazing imports, and amazing domestics. I've also seem horrible imports and horrible domestics. You get used to all the hate after a while.

I remember when I was in my 20's I could take a car apart, put it back together, change a speedo or a tach or a thermostat, but now you need to either be a NASA technician or a really really good mechanic. Whats more, you'll often void your warranty if you do so much as change a battery.
