Global Warming? NO SUCH THING!

Ok.. I was trying to stay off this topic.. but this is just too big of a problem to ignore- I'm fuckin' sick of watching their bullshit propaganda trying to get us to pay a global tax and reduce population..

First off, the sun is the hottest it has been in the past 1000 years. Also, the years with the highest global temperatures- doesn't match the years with the highest concentration of co2. The raise in temperature also came before the raise in co2.. by like a few hundred years. Yeah, make the graph span thousands of years so the sheeple don't notice the gap- it's a small gap if we make the graph this way, they won't notice..

Scientist's Explanation for Global Greenhouse Warming!

Hm.. call my crazy.. but that looks pretty normal in the grand scheme of things to me..

The heat's in the sun

Funny as well how the scientist in this article is predicting the sun's 'hot phase' will peak and start subsiding in a few decades... funny amount of time to be using.. seeing at the politicians are pushing for a global carbon tax over this (yes, they want to tax the air you breath because 'co2 is ruining our earth') and even more recently they're are calling to COMPLETELY HALT producing greenhouse gases AT ALL in the next few decades.. this will bring us back to primitive living... I wouldn't mind- that's what I want... however.. as far as the masses.. a lot will not survive...

Plus.. temperatures have risen lately... wtf? Call me crazy, but my working brain tells me if it was the man made 'greenhouse gas' shyt that was actually causing the rise in global temperature, it would keep going up- not fluctuate spiuatically.

If you are still blind after this.. I dunno what to tell you. -_- Apparently none of these propaganda pushers on RIU don't know how to research.. here was a little start for you..
I'm thinkin' maybe I should quote this on every page of this discussion.. LOL...

i think at this point we might want to be more concerned with our landfills.

Although these look disgusting and are, they are one of the lessor dangers to the continuation of carbon based life on this planet. The destruction of the rain forests, and the effect that is having on the weather is far more serious than trash disposal, although some countries could certainly learn from our methods. The drying out of the planet is a serious condition. less than 4% of the worlds rivers are allowed to flow to their completion at the sea. Most are drained before they reach their mouths.

You cant just say that 1 country is polluting more than another it is the world as a hole thats polluting and like a cancer it will get worse violently untill the pollution is stoped worldwide

drained to where? it all goes back into the earth, correct? isn't all the water on earth recirculated? or is it just disappearing into space? our lakes are full. the rivers are dry because they have been damned and diverted for the human population. maybe what this planet needs to cleanse itself is to remove the human population.

how can we be concerned when the corporate machines keep churning out all these CO2 emitting products? just to produce the things we use causes CO2. the minute they stop making all this shit is the minute i'll stop buying it.:peace:

if it were so true and happening so quickly then why don't we just STOP? like right now. shut it all down? are politics and money more important than the existence of the human race? seems so to me. once that changes so will i. i am more than happy to do my part but i want to see those who started all this hype do it first. start flying coach for starters.:blsmoke:

LOL.. you mean the world isn't flat FDD? Say it isn't so!

I have to agree... we have mangled the earth and squandered it's natural resources.. yet we're worried about this fake crisis? Maybe there's more co2 because there's less plants and more people... but this 'co2 causing global warming that's going to END THE WORLD'.. please..

Beats me, but there are a lot more places now that have to deepen their wells because the ground water is leaving (Being depleated). I am assuming that it is going into the ocean. Less presipitation in some areas decrease runnoff and snowpack which manufactures the ground water. In some parts of the world, springs no longer flow. You have to look at the big picture,. not just your specific area. Example: Lake meade is at the lowest point since it was filled in the '30's. Many southern states are in extreme drought conditions. How about tornados in february, is that unusual? Things are changing rather rapidly and there is no precedent in known weather history.

I wonder if the ruling class during the start of the Ice Age tried to control their populations by blaming them.. or maybe a religion capitalized on it "this is happening because of what you did". This is an age old method to deal with problems we don't understand.. blame..

Sorry, man. but almost everything i see here is blatant repeating of propaganda.

"no precedent for rapidly changing weather"? look at the graphs of climate change over millenniums and even millions of years. climate changes today are no different at all from past changes. the earth's climate cycles along with the sun, along with all the other planets in the solar system.

"ground water drying up"? there is such a thing as the water cycle. and as far as i know, the planet does not lose water into space. so where are the rivers going? simple. overpopulation or big coka-cola factories tap the water source and drink it before it gets to the ocean. they then piss it out into the toilet, which drains into a sewage system, which gets absorbed into the GROUND and becomes a part of another water source. water is not lost.

it has been admitted by many honest climatologist already that global warming is NOT responsible for extreme hurricanes and tornadoes. the warming of the atmosphere ought to DECREASE extreme weather patterns by decreasing the temperature difference between the poles and the equator. this idea has been debunked. but it wont stop the media from showing dramatic weather clips every time the mention global warming. and the eager public sucks it up without any research.

when you're already biased toward an idea, everything starts looking like proof.

Rent, buy or borrow a copy of "The planet", may change your minds. The little corner of the world we Americans live in uses 25% of the worlds energy, 1/4 of the energy in the world is used by the US, the 25th most populated country on the planet. Are we spoiled or what? Take a walk outside your little narrow mind and see the world as one cohesive entity, one not ruled by greed and then maybe re-consider your position. Yes Dorothy, we are causing Global warming and the naysayers have the most to gain by disclaiming this "fact". Widen your perspective, think outside the box. we Humans are a scourge on this planet. Species are dissapearing at a rate not witnessed since the end of the Dinosaurs, forests are dissapearing at the rate of the size of portugal every year. Don't take my word for it, investigate. Knowledge is power.

do you think by constantly repeating the mantra "man-made global warming is a fact" that you will convince people. apparently, many do.

I have nothing to gain from denying it. and demonizing those of us who do isn't going to improve your argument.

BTW, how do you know that species are disappearing? If we didn't know they existed, how can know they just went extinct?

and what does species disappearing have to do with climate change? i mean, have you seen the temperature records of this planets history? YouTube - Climate Change - Is CO2 the cause? - Pt 1 of 4 It has been many times colder and hotter then today...yet how do you explain the fantastic diversity in life we see today. everything must have died off during those 'extreme' climates of the past. right?

a thorough, unbiased examination of the planet's history teaches us that life adapts and survives the constant flux of climate over millenniums precisely because climate change is a VERY SLOW process. it is up to the global warming fear-mongers to provide the evidence that our climate is changing at an unprecedented rate right now, and that it is unquestionably due to excess carbon in the air. you can't use pictures of polar bears to do that. you have to go by temperature records. and the temperature is stable: no warming for nearly a decade, and less then a degree rise in a whole century of burning carbon.

man-made global warming...you fail. :spew:

quickly now, all the global warming religious zealots....attack!

Climate change will naturally boost some species up and get rid of others.. natural selection my friend..

However, the alarming amount of species extremely endangered is startling.. but a little research shows this is more because of our behavior, not the planets.. breeds and species that our forefathers used to feed their families with are going extinct- plants that were common 200 years ago are fading away.. the industrial world we are in now is doing it, not nature. We have species of cows, chickens, turkeys, horses, everything you could think of- going extinct... these greedy bastards are more concerned with using 'high breds' and getting as much as they can for as little as possible- this greed and mindset is what is reducing the biological diversity on earth...

An all black cow with just a belt of white around it's waist.. a horse the size of a pony and shorter than me, but is proportioned and looks just like a normal horse, a watermelon that looks normal on the outside but has white flesh on the inside, a tomato that's pink and green stripped.... it makes me sick that my daughter could possibly never see these things because of greed..

of course i understand both the role of natural selection on species population and man's role in destroying the diversity of species, plant and animal. its a sin.

but we're talking about the climate changing and species going extict. if i do not believe in man-made global warming then i'm not worried that it is killing off any species who wouldn't naturally die off when the climate naturally changes. which ever one goes, another will replace it to fill that ecological niche.

but meds comment reminds me of a scientist who said: "species are going extinct before anyone can even discover them." well, that MAY be true, but how could you know for sure there was a new species there if no one ever discovered them? man's destroying of natural habitats for our wood and paper consumption is a tragedy, though.

do you know how they measure extinction rates of insects? they literally COUNT the number of insects in a patch of soil one year, and them come back next year to count again....really. and who's to say the insects just didn't find a better feeding ground this year?

i wish the world would jump on the polution band wagon. that's the problem facing our world. and it is the same problems global warming people claim they want to fix. but they are supporting an ill-proven theory to accomplish it.
