yes but the guy who drew it up is farther left than even kucinich. it has no chance of passing, nor would obama even consider it. its a non issue. as with most the right generates about "obamacare". the model for "obamacare", which i call "the affordable heathcare act", which mitt romney signed into law, has been an INCREDIBLE success here. improving the lives of more than 90% of our people. no voodoo beurocrats or big lines, or pulling the plug on grandma. its all bullshit people, and its spoonfed on Fox everyday to achieve 2 things, fear and power

ive been protesting two days straight and am thinging on a third, i live in a military town and i am the only one doing it! people here got so pissed. one guy had the nerve to mock me with his kids in the car so i loosend my trousers and shoved the flag right down and scrubbed my balls and them wiped my ass with it. and started yelling to the kiddies if they believe in something take to and dont be afraid as daddy rolled up the window. my sign says cripples need not apply politicians still lie . they still allowing people to join in new york? the senate controls our country.

I didn't believe this either. ObamaCare.

** Page 50/section 152: The bill will provide insurance to all non-U.S. residents, even if they are here illegally.

** Page 58 and 59: The government will have real-time access to an individual's bank account and will have the authority to make electronic fund transfers from those accounts.

** Page 65/section 164: The plan will be subsidized (by the government) for all union members, union retirees and for community organizations (such as the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now - ACORN).

** Page 203/line 14-15: The tax imposed under this section will not be treated as a tax. (How could anybody in their right mind come up with that?)

** Page 241 and 253: Doctors will all be paid the same regardless of specialty, and the government will set all doctors' fees.

** Page 272. section 1145: Cancer hospital will ration care according to the patient's age.

** Page 317 and 321: The government will impose a prohibition on hospital expansion; however, communities may petition for an exception.

** Page 425, line 4-12: The government mandates advance-care planning consultations. Those on Social Security will be required to attend an "end-of-life planning" seminar every five years. (Death counseling..)

** Page 429, line 13-25: The government will specify which doctors can write an end-of-life order.

This isn't the America I knew.

I think you think I'm a rightie. I'm not. I'm just want the government out of my life. Other than collecting appropriate taxes they shouldn't be seen let alone heard from. Over simplification, but it gets the point across.

Wow, I've lived in MI my whole life and I've never heard of Torch Lake (wtf public schools). Holy crap, it's beautiful and almost tropical. Stupid question but, is the water always that clear? I think I will be taking the fam there next summer for sure. :)

It is Caribbean blue all the time. Beautiful. It was once called the Most Beautiful Fresh Water Lake in the world by National Geo. It has a sand bar that everyone hangs out on it shallow enough for children (not babies). Torch Lake is one of a chain of seven lakes, so rent a boat and see all of them. Great place for anyone with a family. It's only about a 45 min drive to Traverse City. Cabins shouldn't cost a lot they aren't getting the same crowds they used to.
