so your grow room is sealed , no fresh air getting in at all , what condition are your plants in ? with no air they would die, now , fermentation will produce a minute amount of co2 , (yeast sugar method), but comparable to what's already in the atmosphere, it aint worth producing, understand im not a hater , my information is correct , nearly done my shift here, then i shall reveal.Yes, my room is a sealed closet, pretty much 30"x30"x 8' high.
Doesn't really get much "fresh air" in there. I don't see how adding co2 doesn't boost the co2 level? I'm no scientist, but seems like simple stuff.
I have done trials with adding co2 this way and it was a complete waste of time , infact all it did was attract ants and other such bugs, if you do your research you will see that the amount of co2 you are actually providing your plants this way is less than the content of co2 in normal fresh air , in my trial (ask if you want the link) the plants that had co2 added this way were exactly the same as the 1's without. sorry to piss on your fire, peace ....
I did say the amount produced is tiny and not worth the effort , so if you read it properly you would see this, it's an information forum , not here to rant, if you dont like my info , thats ok also...What you say makes no sense because first off you say it crests less c02 than I the air ok but add the two together and what do you have hmmm a higher count of you guessed it c02 wow isn't that so easy lol but really dude I and others would probably like to a more in depth look into the science of it than 1 person saying it doesn't work cause it didn't work for you also if it is in a closet that is well sealed the c02 builds up at the lower part of the pots since c02 is heavier than sir and you put a little fan down there and it will move it to the plants for you but in my experience using this co2 method no doesn't compare to filled co2 bottles but I will say your the only person I have ever heard of saying I docent do anything at all cause my plant deff seen a bigger healthier more vigerous growth and besides you forget SOMETHING IS BETTER THAN NOTHING !!!
Ty sir........i dont think he meant that it does nothing at all just that the results aren't worth the floor space or the headache of dealing with home made remedies when an easy one is available in the form of a tank and a C02 controlled switch/valve
I don't have a meter.

Are both tubes the exact same level when connecting to the container? So, can anyone explain why 1 of the 2 hoses doesn't produce co2 from the end of it? They are both coming from the same 1 gallon jug.
Fermentation can produce a substantial amount of CO2 in an enclosed area, the real question to those of you who understand zymurgy is; are you a good enough grower where everything else is dialed in to the point that you'll see a noticeable difference from your biweekly DIY fermentations? Is it worth the $$$ and effort fermenting pounds of sugar in gallons of water (because that's what it takes to produce a substantial amount of CO2)? Chances are if one is growing in a closet, the answer is no.fermentation will produce a minute amount of co2 , (yeast sugar method), but comparable to what's already in the atmosphere, it aint worth producing,
