I topped off the pots with a gallon of water with full strength Cha Ching and some molasses, SuperThrive this morning. It seems that when the soil is on the dry side, the pistol formation slows down. I want them to keep going for another few weeks. The buds are swelling nicely, though. Instead of the top tip of the cola being the only bud growth point, the flowers are sprouting like a fractal broccoli floret in spirals. Amazing. The purple on Purple Kush is more and more noticeable. Now uploading the true color version of the video clip to YouTube.

I think now they really like how I pH the water/nutes. They are still shooting out pistols and buds keeps swelling, especially right after I feed them. I do see more and more red receded hairs, but the bud production seems to be still going strong. Each cola isn't that big like some of your forearm-size ones under 1000+ Watts, but they are uniformly shaped and very dense. Can't wait for the weigh in.

Hey machnak, do I need to completely stop giving them N at some point? Is it bad to keep the green as long as possible, instead of letting them absorb their own N out of the lower fan leaves, very until the flushing? I've got to research on flushing, harvesting, trimming, curing a little more into the details real soon....

I lean them off once I start flowering unless they show me they want it. Some eat it up, so don't like any at all. No nutrients the last 2-3 weeks for me. They suck up all their stored nutrients after the flush, leaves die off...check trichomes. I like to pick depending on strain when it's about 20%Amber / 80% Milky. Lots of stuff about harvesting and curing here, stickys too.

Ah. I've noticed Purple Kush craving more nitrogen than the sativa-dom hybrid Dream Star. No nutes for the last 2-3 weeks, eh? That seems like a long time of starvation for them... Do the buds still swell with no nutes?? I'm trying to decide when to start flushing because I know the time is near, but I don't want to let them starve when those buds could potentially grow more with food, you know. Maybe I should bump up the molasses and reduce FF nutes... So many ideas.....

Most people do two weeks prior to harvest. Most of the time I'll flush heavy indicas earlier, and sativas later. Yes the do, they store nutrients in leaves and pull the nutrients from them once you flush. Hence why you'll see leaves yellowing towards the end. Reducing it would be good, but you still want to flush. Otherwise your buds could taste like shit.

do that mate and then flush in four days pal and do that every 2-3 days mate until chopp but before chopp turn the lights out for 2 days mate to enhance resin levels mate just a option for ya think about mate
