No. Not at all. There is a limit to the amount of research that most people can do. BUT, i DID research (and am in no way an expert) when making $70k a year and contemplating buying and did not. i didn't like the terms being offered.

They also enter the thyroid and pineal glands and disrupt proper hormone production, which leads to various other illnesses.
There simply is no denying the deadly truth about fluoride anymore. Ample evidence is continually being released that exposes fluoride as a highly-toxic chemical poison, and even the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) admits that fluoride is a toxin. It is also worth mentioning that the April 12, 2010, issue of TIME magazine lists fluoride as one of the "Top Ten Common Household Toxins." Dubbing fluoride "neurotoxic and potentially tumorigenic if swallowed," and it is difficult to determine how anyone can suggest that adding such a chemical to drinking water is in any way beneficial.
"Fluoride can be toxic by ingesting one part per million (ppm), and the effects are not immediate, as they can take 20 years or more to become evident," adds the new report.

I was making a six figure income and don't consider myself to be a genious. I was intelligent enough to understand that buying a $750,000.00 - $1,000,000.00 home that was only $250,000.00 10 years prior was a BAD idea. You know what? You mother fuckers weren't around complaining when you're $100,000 home went up in value to $400,000 through fucking magic. Ran out, refied the house and borrowed the money to buy your fancy fuckin boats and cars, running up credit card debt and acting like fuckin' tools. To all you motherfuckers that all along the way asked me "Why haven't you bought a house? They are a great investment, blah, blah, fuckin' blah". Go fuck yourselves for demanding that we take care of you now you greedy sons of bitches. Demanding that your fellow citizens, wealthy or poor shoulder the burden of your stupidity.
I get so angry thinking about ALL of those slapdicks running around pulling this over those "great years" while I KNEW all along that the market was inflated, they were all full of shit...how many people got interest only loans? Remember that shit?
How can people act like they have no responsibility for signing a contract, agreeing to the terms and defaulting on their own shit? Why would you make a 30 year committment to pay back hundreds of thousands of dollars? You are expected to think about what the fuck you are doing. You are responsible for your own plight. You did this shit to yourself. You walked into your bank, you signed the paperwork, take some PERSONAL RESPONSIBLITY. You need to look out for you and your families well being, it is neither the right nor the responsibilty of corporations OR the gov't to do that for you. It's YOUR FUCKING LIFE.

EVERY single person that bought a house was shown the monthly payment before they signed. You don't need to know much about mortgages, but you do need to have the common sense to know if you can afford said payment. I have ZERO pity for anyone that bought homes they couldn't afford. It's the salesman's job to sell the house/loan/car, it's your job to know if you can afford it, the salesman isn't there to look out for your financial well being.
my buddy bought a house he couldn't afford. laughed at me when i didn't. i told him "i don't make enough to get approved for a loan like that". his reply ... "talk to my loan agent, she'll approve anyone".
at that point, i laughed.
he rents and got divorced. pays child support on 3 kids now.
