mixed up some worm slop in anticipation for the arival of my new worms. carboard and newspaper

ok so im concerned with the fact that i used flyer paper wich contains alot of colored ink, wondering if i should strain the water off.

ok so since no one answered me on the ink i went ahead and rung out all the paper. trashed the water it was in and refilled the bucket as i want some tea to ammend my soil with. gonna probally go out and get some "stuff" tomorow and start mixing up my soil. get it all mixed up and hit it with that tea. a trusted source says he does this 2 weeks prior to using the soil and it works great gets all the microbes going and shit.
strained the old water to get the "pulp" like material out since from what i read the smaller the surface area the better. also added about 1 cup of molasses to the paper slop to feed them hungry micro organisms

well added my mixture of carboard newspaper water and molasses. im listinig to it piss out the bottom now. tomorow i will head over to agway and get all the components for my next grow's medium

Sorry man, I don't know if the ink from the newsprint is bad or not.. Just reading a lot about this now, will try to remember if I come across anything definitive for you.

i read to stay away from "glossy" paper and paper with alot of ink in it, i had the kids shred up the paper so it got throw in before i could really catch it. worms will be here tomorow....sigh

haha. My boy was helping me transplant some arugala and basil plants yesterday. I keep him away from the grow though. He saw them once and called em stinky plants. That's why I started the basil plant. I've told him that the basil is the stinky plant. Ahh that, Santa Claus and all the other lies we tell our kids

checked my tracking numbers this AM and my light is scheduled for delivery today, waiting for the dam UPS man to get here and getting impatient. its bad enough i saw him TWICE today while i was in town so i know that fucker is out there somewhere......
i think im going to have to go in my verm bin and ring out the paper i put in yesterday as it seems a little too wet right now. i did get some nice tea though about a gallong and 1/2.
grabbed up a bag of happy frog fertilizer and pro mix at the store, have some perilite and some Hyponex organic potting soil so im going to mix up a small batch of my special mix and start a bean in it and see how it grows. unfortunalty i wont be able to add any worm castings for a couple weeks but they should be done by the time i get my beans and am ready to start my next grow.
going to switch over to the tent and HID light when it gets here and my cab is going ot go in for repairs to try and make it better, silicone all the cracks and make it air/light tight this way my passive intake works a bit better.
think i should add a teaspoon of lime as well to ensure good PH level?
