Yes it is getting exciting, I'm not afraid to say this is the most fun I've had in a while Seeing as MOSTLY ALL of Nitro's older, larger fans are yellow and now dying do you still think cutting would be wise....lemme see how many really yellow leaves she has hang on a sec.....about 12 that I see are on their way OUT! She still has ALOT of nice green foliage underneath her colas. I think I'm going to have more weight underneath than on the colas....lol! I accidentally bent a smaller branch of Nitro while I was doing my daily seed inspection think it's OK to throw it in the oven on 120 for an hr or so and smoke it? I know it won't taste or smell great, just want to see what kind of high it will give. I won't be giving any to my Dad until it's dried and cured properly, but I sure would love to try her. I do garden a lot in the spring and summer, mostly veggies though. I did try marigolds (I love how they smell) but my dog peed on them all the time and killed them, but I do get what your saying now. I just don't want any of them to start focusing on seeds production, how will I know if that's happening , are there any warning signs? I think that is what is confusing me the most, just NOT knowing if they are still flowering or if they are busy behind the scenes working on their seed production??? LOL about flushing with urine....you always make me feel better about how far we have come in this grow. Thank you for that!I've always clipped yellowing leaves catt. Don't think it makes any difference at all to the plant but the just look neater. I think your dirty girls are looking just great. I wouldn't worry about a few seeds. As long as the plant THINKS it needs to set more seed the baby will keep growing. It's when they get that signal from themselves that it's time to focus on ripening seed rather than more flowers. If you have ever planted marigolds you get the idea. Plant one in your garden and leave the one flower it came with and that's all you get pretty much. Cut that flower out and the plant panics and tries to put out as many flowers as it can. It's why deadheading annuals is a necessity.
I thought my plants were slowing down too catt until I took them out of their box today for pics. They are going strong and I'm feeling good. I just wish I had some bubblicious on the way.
I have NO idea what to do about flushing and when to start. I think I could flush them with urine and they would smoke better than what I'm buying. I'm just gonna watch what you guys do and follow along. It's getting exciting!!!
