They ship to US. I have made 3 orders. No problems at all.
I never said the two were "businesses". EVERY business has a profit motive. It's the very definition of a "business". Look it up, skippy.
I am self employed (for profit, to make money), and I donate my time elsewhere (not for profit, out of compassion) to various organizations. I know the difference between the two. You are apparently clueless to this.
Stick with watching Trailer Park Boys, dipshit. It seems about your speed.
Edit: I'll bust out my crayons and simplify this a bit more for you ....
-Caregiver A hooks up with patient A and they agree to a flat rate of $500 an ounce for the meds. This is up front, and mutually agreed upon, and therefor I have absolutely no issue with it.
-Caregiver B promises patient B 2 free ounces a month, and then proceeds to charge patient B $250 an ounce for the meds that were supposed to be free. Caregiver B is a piece of shit in my books.
Hey Vape, see you made it over lol, yea things get hairy here at times for sure. but all in all good peeps and great debates. lol
Until you guys that set back and keyboard comando about the farmers markets, actually get out from behind your CPU Screens and go there for yourself, and use your own two eyes and your own two ears as stated earlier, all you are doing is tossing shit into the box fan.
I can almost gaurentee Joe gives away more meds in a couple weekends at the JFM (which he BUYs from the Caregivers at the market) to Needy Patients than many of us would see in a years time at a local compassion club... You can make all the claims you want, but if you have ever ran a business, then you understand the cost associtated with having open doors.
now keep in mind, he does not make a penny off any meds moved thru the FM, unless he has his own available. and when he does, he gives them to the needy patients. I would say thats pretty damn compassionate. I know for a fact he probalby gives away near 1/2 lb of free meds every weekend hes open..
but you can bitch and keyboard comando all you want, until you show up and see it for yourself, you are running strictly on conjecture and guesses.
Most informative post I have ever read on here. Thanks.Alright well I didn't read this whole thread. Just the 1st few and last few, so I apologize if I'm restating information but I am pretty informed on the subject and would like to offer my knowledge to anyone who might be benefited.
IN CALIFORNIA:
Patients who belong to a Collective may "share", "give", "donate", (whatever you wanna call it) meds to other patients who also belong to their collective. Donations (money) may be accepted in exchange (for meds) but it (the money) MUST go through the the Non-Profit Corporations (collectives) accounting process.
i.e. Let's say Joe is the president of a Non-Profit Collective in CA and Joe "sells" an oz through his collective for $300 (including CA sales tax) to a patient. That $300 can not go directly into Joes pocket. Even if Joe grew it and and did all the work to "sell" it. That $300 has to 1st go to the Non-Profit Corp. Usually it would be deposited into the collective bank account. But the main thing is that the transaction is to be documented in the companies books and CA sales tax is to be paid for said transaction.
This must happen with every dollar that comes into the collective. The same exact thing must be done with every dollar spent. If a vendor/grower comes in and "donates" a lb. for $3000, it must be documented in the companies books that $3000 was spent on 1 lb of meds and was paid to said Vendor.
FYI: This is how all tax paying companies (are supposed to anyways) operate. The difference between a for-profit and a not-for-profit corporation is how board-members (owners) get paid.
In a for-profit situation the owner MAY take all left over money at the end of the month, week, etc (however they decide to break up the year, usually monthly or bi-weekly)
In a not-for-profit ALL "profits" must be re-invested back into the company. The "owners" are paid a pre-determined salary regardless of how much money the company makes.
So MAIN difference here is that the owners of of for-profit business take all the left over money because they own the company and therefore the money.
For a non-profit the "owner" doesn't technically "own" the comapany (and therefore the money) but just works for the collective (even though he fulfills the duties and does work, just like an owner would). The company must pay the "owner" of a non-profit, because the money belongs to the company, not the "owner"
It is my understanding that as long as a collective abides by these financial guidelines the medium they choose i.e. delivery, retail style store-front, or farmers market is up to them.
In the case of a (legal) FM, the growers are operating as collective employees and any payment they receive is from the Collective itself and not from the actual patient. You may hand your money to the grower but the grower gives the money to the collective. Who in turn accounts for it and then pays the grower for growing the meds for the collective.
Again this is for CA only. I dunno about the rest of the states.
So you have been there then?Until you guys that set back and keyboard comando about the farmers markets, actually get out from behind your CPU Screens and go there for yourself, and use your own two eyes and your own two ears as stated earlier, all you are doing is tossing shit into the box fan.
No I do not feel attacked just offended at the false references. Yes I had a vet from that mmma site guide me but did not transport me. No I did not get anywhere close to my two and a half, but yes I nearly spent the amount you stated wich was supposed to last one month but did not. Also most stuff there is not medical quality. I was treated with compassion by only a few individuals, the rest of the civilians there were rude and almost knocked me down repeatedly. Goodnight troll.Pbear, you seem to think im attacking you, which im not. I just used you as a reference for someone that recently went to the JFM and was able to get help. Doesnt that about sum it up?
So i ll ask if i have to, Did you have a member come help you out when you joined the 3MA and this site looking for help about a month ago? Which site was that member from PBear?
Did that member take you to the Jackson FM, where you were able to get nearly your limit in meds at that time? and Did you have to pay 600.00 for them? Would you say you seen compassionate work going at at the JFM?
All I am doing is using your recent experience at the JFM to make a point it does A LOT of good for folks that are on hard times, fixed incomes, and just cant swing having a steady supply of quality meds. Im glad you were able to get some help and relief. But many here say you should suffer, cuz the JFM is illegal, and you should be happy they want it closed so you cant get the help you just got a few weeks back.
How do you feel about the JFM? Did being there make you feel like a criminal? cuz according to about 20 people here you are for going there and being treated with compassion from the folks there.
If I might as what was your username back when you were looking for help?Tim why are you still dangling from my nuts? I dont know anything about you and you only have assumptions about me, wich are wildly incorrect. I have not spoken to you about the pharmers market, nor will I ever. It is sad that you do not have someone that feels like you are worth taking to the market, if you would like I can ask my ride to pick you up from the niles amtrack station and we can carpool to the market. It sounds like you are a bit heavy on the sativa.
Does this Timmah moron realize that if pbear is a veteran, on veteran disability, or even Social Security..that drawing attention to him could jeopardize his benefits? The feds don't have any problem disqualifying you for benefits if you have a drug charge/conviction of any kind. medical or not.Timmahh. Are you fucking kidding me right now?! You have never been to the market for one and for two you just threw this veterans information on the internet. If I was pbear I would want to kick the shit out of you so bad I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight. What the fuck is wrong with you seriously? I think a farmer's market should be legal, but son of a bitch every last story you tell pisses me off more and more. You posting this patients personal shit and the amounts they spent should have you banned permanently from the 3MA and the Jackson Farmers Market. You are out of your fucking mind. Do you drink? Your posts go all over the place daily.
scuse me sir, do you know how hard you nut-dangling back there? Step away from the nuts sir.Tim why are you still dangling from my nuts? I dont know anything about you and you only have assumptions about me, wich are wildly incorrect. I have not spoken to you about the pharmers market, nor will I ever. It is sad that you do not have someone that feels like you are worth taking to the market, if you would like I can ask my ride to pick you up from the niles amtrack station and we can carpool to the market.
