Wow Spliff...........awesome pics/ beautiful girls..........Best FINISHED efdl grow on the interwebs:).............very impressed:clap:
thanks so much bro! but that's just the one PDP in those harvest pics...

the others came down without the paparazzi present due to time constraints at that time. they're in jars curing presently so when the PDP is done drying off i can snap some nug comparison pics for the thread.

the next round is already in the works. i have 5 more of those green scrog grids showing up in the next few days so that every girl gets one (when i got my one in Feb at Fred Meyer's, i apparently got the last one in the PNW area. i had to scour the internet for more at a good price). i also moved veg into the tent, bringing with it the two 200w lights (the 200PAR and the off-brand 200w). once the PDP is done in her room, everything is getting cleaned and the tent goes there and there's going to be a lot of veg rebuilding out of the tent to ready it for bloom... tentative plans for the next round of bloom, based on available genetics at ready sizes are the Raspberry Kush, the Cannatonic, and two Obama Kushes - perhaps the Mendo Purp. i'm excited to see what they do in these grids, and under Inda-Gro only. god that HPS really held it's plants back, especially the Obama. you will see in the finished nug pics.

i'm thinking of starting a journal on the next round, but i really want to get more 420PARs before i make a big(ger) show of my gardening.

and speaking of veg... off to the babes again!

be well everyone!

goodness these nugs are taking a hot minute to dry up...

on a side note, i did some further studying on my beloved PDP, and it turns out that it's a local creation with a local name... Oregon Licorice.

it apparently comes from landrace seed stock on both sides; Purple Afghani and Durban Poison.

she smells sooo sexy. there's a lady that my wife gets medicated hard candies from... when i get done handling the PDP nugs for a bit, my fingers smell better than those candies! sweet and hashy.

purple effin trichome stalks!

i hope to have her dry enough to give some weights (and more importantly, a smoke report) in the next few days.

meanwhile the Pineapple has a pleasant aroma that is indeed reminiscent of pineapples. better in a vaporizer than a bong, but pretty tasty in a steamroller. the other night it put me out a solid five hours before bed time.

the Obama is more Obama than any other Obama i have ever smelt or smoked. she gives me such a strong body high, it feels like angels are tickling my nerve endings and massaging my muscles directly. it almost feels like ecstasy.

the White Fire is the most citrusy of the bunch. very clean smell and taste. very high limonene content, and good for gastric issues, that we have noticed.

hope that everyone else is doing well!

ttfn.

:o yowza

ya, i'll keep ya all posted on her! i'm rather curious myself because the different sources that refer to her by the two names quote her as having different times... as PDP she claims 56-70 days, and under the OL banner they say she wants 50-55 days. the pictures that the two camps provide are clearly of different plants, that look identical to each other and also to mine... so we'll see.

speaking of... time to go check on the lines and also on veg. :-P

peace. :leaf:

hey yall.

so she finally got into the jars for good last night and is settling into a very sweet yet subtly spicy aroma.

and she came in at 235g, or a little over a half a pound. :bigjoint:

not too bad if i do say so myself, especially considering that the 420 was lighting 3 other plants for all but the last week that the PDP was up. and she was just in a #5 short pot.

on the topics of the other plants...

it turned out that the GDP was actually an Obama... i confirmed the mix up with the source. no big deal tho, since i LOVE the smell and taste of the Obama, and i have a very legit Mendo Purp getting ready for the next bloom run.

between the 2 Obamas, the White Fire, and the Pineapple Kush, another 7 ounces total was gathered. the WF was done with light staking and tying while the others just had tomato hoops...

the 5 new scrog grids also showed up a few days ago. those plus the HPS being replaced with a 2nd 420 (in the next month or so), and me upgrading to 7gal pots has me suspecting that next harvest will be substantially larger. ;-)

well, i need to get running for now.

peace! :leaf:

hey again everyone, and thanks for the kind words!

i've been busy, but wanted to put up some nug pics of the other ladies, as they are deserving of some face time, i think. ;-)

the Obama Kush:

the White Fire:

the Pineapple Kush:

to recap, total bloom wattage was 1020 watts; a single 420PAR and a single 600w HPS. the White Fire was the only plant to bloom under the HPS exclusively, although she did get a substantial amount of side lighting from the 420PAR as the mover carried it around in the tent (gotta love all that mylar for reflections too). the Obamas and the Pineapple rotated through 3 tent positions (2 under the 420PAR, on the far side from the HPS; and one spot next to the WF under the HPS). again, the PDP was the only plant under the 420PAR the entire time.

well, all this typing about them and looking at them has given me a want to get my taste on :bigjoint:

be well everyone!

that sucks that he's still waiting on them, but as of writing this, to only be +5 days from California to Australia can't really be that bad of a shipping delay... maybe? i just hope that he doesn't have damages to deal with. t'would suck for sure.

what is the typical household voltage that you all have over there?

also, whats up with the outdoor grow down there?!? i bet that y'all get some truly fierce sunshine down under.

of the outdoor efforts that you have seen, what seems to be holding them back?

8 footers sound decent, although i have seen stuff outdoors in southern Oregon or Northern Cali that just kills it at 15 feet+.

maybe it's in the soil?
