By the way, I've been having an issue with humidity at night. It's good to go during the day but it's been getting up to as much as 80% with the lights off. I found some non electric dehumidifiers online, but I'm really not trying to buy anything else. Read something about using salt, so filled half a glass and put it in the bin. We'll see if it does anything. It was recommended to use a bowl (don't know if that's due to surface area) but I'm going to try the glass first anyway just to see. I might even try those little "stay fresh" packets that are used for food and clothing to absorb moisture. Heard Wal-Mart has some moisture absorbent stuff in the cleaning section so will try there too.

I haven't smoked that stuff( reggo) in i don't know how long,smile ..just tired of this mid also spending money on it.....So growing my own is the next best thing...From what i am seeing you are doing well ,you gonna have some good bud soon soon,smile ..Thanks for your time..peace always......Unfortunately, the only thing around me is that reggo so need things to go well lol. Hello all! I've been hesitant to post on here mainly because I wanted to experiment and poke around with my first grow on my own without bothering people for their expertise. I've come to the conclusion though, unlike most noobs here obviously, that it is indeed very possible to head down the right track by taking the time to read and read over! I'm also not big on posting to forums due to the high amount of trolls and grouches lol! But I absolutely could not resist this thread, everyone here seems extremely cool and knowledgable... and Lady J, WOW is all I can say girl great job! I became inspired after coming across this thread a few weeks ago and I am extremely appreciative of all that is happening here. I started to build my own sterilite flowering box without any real direction other than tossin some 2700k lights and a few fans, but now, thanks to the expertise of everyone in this thread, and the green thumb of Lady J whom I am able to trail behind and continue learning for my small experiment! I started with bagseed to get the feel around the last week of March, and have been smokin some BOMB ass OG and Sour OG from out west for the past couple months, happened to come across a decent amount of OG seeds and two Sour OG seeds...not to mention I have been hoarding some Blue Dream, Bubba Kush and BOMB ass Bubba Purp seeds! Germed a few Bubs after tossing the bagseed, planted a few in big pots on April 30th and they are looking terrific! Hopefully I get a female or 2 to flower, but in the meantime, my apologies for intruding with the small bio, appreciate all the help that I have come across, and best of growing to everyone who has contributed or even poked around in this thread, I'm lovin it here! Also, sorry about the cheesy name, was pretty damn high reading info, wanted to see pics, had to think fast! lol PEACE!

Today marks the second week of flowering. The plants are holding up pretty well. They've suffered a couple bumps from my end; Partially burnt a couple leaves having a CFL too close, supercropped a top a little too much (duct tape ftw), and had to up waterings to every other day. Just got some Liquid Karma in the mail so the girls got their first feeding of it today. Going to use it weekly at first, then maybe bump up to every other watering? Need to do some more research on it to be honest, but the good things I heard about it made me feel like I needed to get some now while I'm still in the early flowering stage.
**Notice that the plants seem to favor the left side more...it's because the screen stretches from the back to the front on the left side, while I had to leave room on the right side open to be able to get under the plants. Maybe not the best design but I wanted to scrog so it's how I chose to adapt the space.

lol I like the name, it's clever and funny. I am flattered to hear that my thread inspired you to try this grow too! Understand you not wanting to post due to trolls and grouches lol, but you won't get any of that here. I know that a large part of the quality of my plants is due to advise from RIU members! Feel free to ask anything you want...or even share, because a lot of people (including me) have plenty to learn, and even if you're a newbie, you still have the potential to teach something worth knowing to anyone. ..Excellent..i'm on page 169 ,i started on page 1...The concept of constantly having trees producing and starting a new tree or 2 everyweek is something else..Did you see the size of Del666 buds...Wow! ..Only thing i need to get is the coconut coir ,although some folks are doing it with a soil mixture..I just like you can have buds to smoke constantly without waiting too long..When i was reading it..I thought of you and anyone with a small spaces...For me i will practice with my bagseed ..i have some beans germin i type when they pop..I'm switching my midgrade over to flower 12/12 and i will do 12/12 from seed on those .. Glad you liked it ..I figured it would be perfect for you...Thanks for your time...The weekend is here.. enjoy it...peace...

Going to start a perpetual grow in the closet when the seeds come and then start some in the sterilite bin when the ladies are harvested!

Good Evening Lady J Yes his work was/is very impressive..One thing i want and need to get is the coconut coir ,since he used that.. i did some research ..lowes/home depot didn't have it (online anyway)..But i found it located at my local hydro store for less tha $2.50 a brick..amazon was like 2,25 a brick & 7.00 S&H..Walmart has it ,but it has to be shipped (to your house) cha-ching on S&H again...So in time i will get to the hydro store ina week or so..My new beans will come around then...Oh yeah !! This site www.hydroponic-research.com. will send you a sample of veg and bloom nute .. free good for soil,coconut or hydro..Have to let them know hard water like (tap water) or soft water (like rain/distilled ) water..Hey one nute for veg & flowering FREEE can beat that..I aslo yurn my mids over to 12/12 today also starting more seeds .Have a good bunch of mid seeds..I smoke a lot,lol...Yes I like your spirit,style & like reading about your grow ..So if i can do anything in my power to help another riu member,i'll try...smile Can't wait to see you get started.. Want to try the Coco...but already have soil and grow pretty well in it, so guess I'm going to use up the rest and then will try coco later. I remember seeing it at the hydro store too. Thanks for sharing that site! Going to get my free sample now and save it for later
. I would put some of my bagseed beans in but then I'd have more reggo around me than I'd care for lol. They're not even worth growing at all...unless there is no more weed left in the world and you're desperate for a smoke lol. I can't wait for you to get your seeds . There's something special about growing good weed!

Check out "TheGodBodyStyle" on youtube, I remember watching him do some hempy buckets and a few different useful things, like lst with fish weights.

Have you thought of raising the lid/top when the get taller? Shouldn't have too much more stretch though..
The 12/12 from seed thread is great. Del and those cats have been doing good things over there.
Glock, Voidling doesn't do hempy, but he's way into the coco. Loves that bottom feeding.
Tried talking him towards it, but it's ultimately his choice..

Doubt I'll have to raise the lid...they're doing their stretching now (am week 2 into flowering) and I still have another 1.5 feet of space! From what I've read, they stretch the most the first few weeks, then slow down considerably. We shall see!
And just a warning...that closet grow is about to turn into a different grow....nothing against hydro, but once I saw the 12/12 thread and thought about have different strains of a perpetual grow...ya girl got greedy lol!
