iv germinated my two auto seeds sk-47 and berry-ryder. they took two days for the seeds to crack. i pt them in a root riot and one in a pot with coca soil. im wondering if anyone can tell me hw long they should take until i see them growing out of the soil? at the moment ive gt them in a dark place, im wondering weather to put them under the light or wait untill they sprout? how longish should they take???????????:leaf:

I usually wait till the seeds break soil and the cotyledons ( false leaves ) are out prior to introducing a light source. If you have a light source too early then the sprouting tends to be stretchier from my experience. The time frame of spruting out from your soil medium varies could take 24-72 hours.

i say when the leaves are green they want sunlight, but i start mine off with a propagation light not the full powered growth lights

erm....might wanna construct some mini grave stones.....you could get a really fine tool to gently unearth the soil above one of the seeds and take a peek to see what has happened. They really diont need to be more than a few millimeters from the surface, in my experience, and you neeeed to keep that soil moist AND at a warm temperature, for good results! When my seeds crack i wait till the root has grown bout 1-2 cm from the seed before transporting from the paper toweel to soil, and thhey normally surface in 1-3 days or so. If its taken a week and a half since they cracked it would really worry me, im not sure what experienced growers would say, though
