Child abuse?
it's very disturbing for sure..
howard stern used to have those god hate's fag people on his show all the time and those kids are pretty screwed up imo.. is it child abuse or do i just hate all religion and hate to see innocent kids be put through all that bs??
i'm not sure, but i don't really think it's abuse simply for the fact that i don't agree with them...
what?? i was born in the us and am not a christian... kind of lost me there m8..It's just indoctrination.
The child has no choice....born in the USA? You're a christian. Born in Indonesia? You're a Muslim. Born in Zanzibar? You're a Zoroastrian.
What flavor is your ice cream? cnwhat?? i was born in the us and am not a christian... kind of lost me there m8..
i have really been into moose tracks, which is sort of a toffee color..What flavor is your ice cream? cn
OK I walked into that ... I'm hoping you know what I'm asking though. For me, as a scion of a 1st-generation American family (central European heritage) the choice was "Christian, or not?" I've been each of those two. Currently ... not.i have really been into moose tracks, which is sort of a toffee color..
lol, yes you did cn.. my mom as a child went to babtist church.. but growing up as a kid, i've never really been to church and neither have either of my parents..OK I walked into that ... Although in terms of regions and numbers ... BA didn't include a big one, which is Judaism and its flock. Could that be to point here? cn
My ex was Lutheran ... Dark Side Lutheran, in Garrison Keillor's parlance. Oy.lol, yes you did cn.. my mom as a child went to babtist church.. but growing up as a kid, i've never really been to church and neither have either of my parents..
i was never baptised or or went to ccd classes or any of that either... the only real time i've been in church as kid was boy scout sundays..
my grandmother was a sunday school teacher for years at a luthern church, but we were never made to go, and like i said, both my parents are heathens as well, lol..
but he was saying you don't have a choice as to what you are.. if you're born in the us, bamm, you're a christian, you're born in iraq, you're a muslim...My ex was Lutheran ... Dark Side Lutheran, in Garrison Keillor's parlance. Oy.
But in a way you may have underlined BA's point imo ... you chose to not be a Christian. cn
Oh ... I see your point. Of course, I believe that all generalizations are bad.but he was saying you don't have a choice as to what you are.. if you're born in the us, bamm, you're a christian, you're born in iraq, you're a muslim...
my point was that's not true as not everyone in the us is christian, and that some parents in fact don't force their religion down their kids throats, and let them decide if it's for them or not.. it's something i'm very proud of my parents for allowing us as kids to chose for ourselves..
one of my greats was a preacher who married abraham lincoln, so it's not like religion didn't run in my family up till my siblings time..
agreed,agreedIt's just indoctrination.

Ime nutjobs are equally distributed among the variously religious and the nonreligious. Although certain beliefs (Scientology rather leaps to mind) have a concentrating effect ... but not for the really egregiously especial nutjobs. They make a home of whatever environment bore them ... cnwow.. last I checked.. there are only Christian nut jobs... ???
where is your post on the non Christian nutjobs..
eta... playing nice
I will agree...Ime nutjobs are equally distributed among the variously religious and the nonreligious. Although certain beliefs (Scientology rather leaps to mind) have a concentrating effect ... but not for the really egregiously especial nutjobs. They make a home of whatever environment bore them ... cn
I don't have that kind of time.I will agree...
however.. now adays you will hear more about those nut balls.. then you do about those who are doing good.
point was... as a Christian myself... why is this Poster not out searching all the other nut balls and making posts on them. agenda?
