On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being a pure Capitalist and 10 being a pure Socialist, Where do you place yourself?
Someone who place Capitalist above all social valueWhat exactly is a "pure" capitalist?
With Mustard?I'm a ham sandwich.
don't call him a tard. that's insulting.With Mustard?
Or I could say I'm a socialist, but what I really mean is I'm a libertarian socialist, which would eliminates the state bureaucracies altogether.State capitalism consists of state ownership of the means of production within a state. The debate between proponents of private versus state capitalism is centered around questions of managerial efficacy, productive efficiency, and fair distribution of wealth.
Libertarian socialism (sometimes called social anarchism,[SUP][1][/SUP][SUP][2][/SUP] and sometimes left libertarianism)[SUP][3][/SUP][SUP][4][/SUP] is a group of political philosophies that promote a non-hierarchical, non-bureaucratic society without private property in the means of production. Libertarian socialists believe in converting present-day privateproductive property into the commons or public goods, while retaining respect for personal property[SUP][5][/SUP].
I think capitalist and socialist are misleading because there are so many different flavors of each.
For instance, I could say I'm a capitalist but what I might mean is that I'm a State Capitalist, which actually sounds a lot like communism:

I wouldn't call that benefiting.A lot of people in this country are benefitting from socialist ideas and don't even know it. Ie: public schools, welfare, free health care, etc. Putting yourself into a broad spectrum of political/social/economic beliefs is just plain dumb.
Marxism falls under the umbrella of Socialism. As a Marxist, you should know this already.I'm more of a Marxist. The mighty proletariat will rise again. Together, the ant colony will conquer the elephant.
I agree, but did you mean to say putting yourself into a "narrow" spectrum instead of a "broad" spectrum?A lot of people in this country are benefitting from socialist ideas and don't even know it. Ie: public schools, welfare, free health care, etc. Putting yourself into a broad spectrum of political/social/economic beliefs is just plain dumb.
Capitalism has noting to do with social values, try again.Someone who place Capitalist above all social value
Be kind of hard to "rise again" when it's never worked! LMAOI'm more of a Marxist. The mighty proletariat will rise again. Together, the ant colony will conquer the elephant.
I wouldn't call that benefiting.

Communism and Marxism are both forms of Socialism.Marxism/Communism/Socialism all have the same beliefs and are linked together. Just as Muslims/Christians/Jews pray to the same God, but have different traditions. (not to get into religion)
Exactly my point! Try reading The Communist Manifesto by Marx. He even explained how the different sects of communism are causing its collapse. Which effects us, do this day. What do you think all the Occupy protests where for?!Communism and Marxism are both forms of Socialism.
Read a book.
EDIT:Also, they do not inherently "all have the same beliefs", Communism and Marxism I mean.
I fail to see where that was your point.Exactly my point! Try reading The Communist Manifesto by Marx. He even explained how the different sects of communism are causing its collapse. Which effects us, do this day. What do you think all the Occupy protests where for?!
