When someone asks how much do you think I will yield?
I always reply with "you will yield never enough".

+ rep for all your help , its not a good idea to let a few people asking the wrong question to affect you
Thanx, and you"re right.
It just gets frustrating at times. I mean people like me, yourself and prob everyone who responded along with most of the old heads from this site try and help someone any time we can.
If someone starts a thread asking how much, thats 1 thing but when they hijack a thread to do it, well frustrating to say the least.
They're worrying about the finish line before they even know how to get there.
I mean if these people would just take 10 sec. to google what it is they wanna know, if they still have questions. Then ask the question on a forum, at least then they'll be able to understand the responses they get, or if their question is crazy or not.
Anyway, sorry if i offended anyone... Thanx for the responses, even the( How Much) 1s. Couldn't help but laugh.
Peace everyone and may all your harvests be bountiful.. Even if we don't know how much they'll be.

I dont usually open those types of threads, but when I do I
tell them "a pound" every time no matter how big or small the plant is lol.

Stupid questions get stupid answers....

Especially when they ask how much will they yield when they're only 3 weeks into flowering ....

I never get "tired" of it. I look forward to seeing who says "at least a pound" first. Sometimes I'm the lucky bastard. It doesn't hurt anyone, well, almost no one. In my early growing days I once posted a pic of a bud and asked if anyone could ID it for me. The several pages fo responses that followed were a great laugh and lesson. It's the newbie section for a reason.

What's really bothering you, my friend?
lol thats a good pat answer, If I respond at all may tell them
2 seeds and a stem:mrgreen:.:weed:

The funny part is I think my first post was a picture of a bedroom closet and I asked how much could i grow in it.

No such thing as a stupid question if you don't know the answer to it.

We all were nubs at one point. But I get how you would be annoyed by hearing the same questions over and over. Still though, keep in mind their state of mind. We all are built different.

Maybe the people who keep causing these im tired threads will actually read 1 of them and quit being so stupid.
Problem is, they don't give a shit, and most likely don't realize that thread jacking is frowned upon.
If I see one, I always try to tell them to start their own thread (no matter the content) because jacking is impolite.

it's a common rookie blunder to ask such questions... i'm not bashing you, but realistically, nobody can give you an accurate answer as there are too many variables involved. someone could tell you an oz, the next person will say a half pound, and the next will say you'd be lucky to get anything... just keep up with what your doin and be happy with whatever you end up with, otherwise you'll just end up disappointed.
this is the last bit of advice i gave on this topic... i think, if they listen, that soon enough they see how stupid the question really is.

Imo there are ignorant questions (which I will strive to answer) and there are also stupid questions. If I catch a whiff of laziness or insincerity or that special profound sort of cluelessness that suggests any answer won't be well understood, I figure it's either time to leave the thread, or be tempted to go after the large slow target. I don't often indulge that impulse, however, because if I have any reason to believe that the question is sincere, i'm inclined toward mercy. cn
