The federal government had nothing to do with opening dispensaries bud. In fact, if I'm correct, the federal law still defines medical marijuana as illegal...

Thank your state
my state does not allow for dispensaries.

for some reason, dispensaries popped up here by the dozens shortly following the inauguration of a democrat.

the only dispensaries to have been busted were growing thousands of plants or called the cops on their business partner.

i thank my state, but i also thank the lax attitude of the executive branch. something you would not see from a republican executive branch. ever.

Lord Dumbo-ears could've changed that easily too and didn't...but another 4 years and he might!!

*facepalm*
recategorizing cannabis on the federal level is akin to political suicide.

and no one of any intelligence is saying that he will in term two, which is upcoming.

what he has said is that he, unlike romney, believes in and will support medical cannabis. what he has emphasized is that this does not mean carte blanche for a cannabis industry.

anyone not licking a window will tell you that any democrat is preferable to any republican on this issue.

i mean, newt gingrich was being rooted for by the likes of NLXSK and others, and that fat fuck endorsed the death penalty for enough cannabis.

end point: if your concern is reclassification of cannabis, it is more likely to happen under a democratic excutive branch rather than a republican executive branch.

Obviously you dont follow the candidates views on medical marijuana
You know, there is only one serious contender that really would legalize medical marijuana and he ran Republican and lost the primary. I really don't understand how people can be for federal control on some things and then do a 180 and be for personal responsibility/state rights on another. It really makes no sense. Anyone who isn't a hypocrite accepts that all decisions must be approached on the same belief system every time.

deeds not words homey.

obama mouthed the words that he wasnt a leaf hater, but his appointment of Eric "Cockbreath" Holder and the free reign Cockbreath has had in his fight against the evils of "marijuana" prove that obama's words were as empty as his promise to shrink the debt and deficit, close guantanamo, end waterboarding, end corporate welfare, keep lobbyists out of the whitehouse, publish all bills 10 days before they are voted on, and all the rest that made me want to vote for him before he got his campaign rolling with the "Hope and Change" mantra of insubstantiality. he became a tenebrous phantom of smoke and oakum long before the democrat primary. even hillary couldnt nail him down on specifics, and that's impressive.

not admirable, but still impressive.
Impressive like Hitlers ability to take over Europe and almost conquer the world by blaming bankers and the old government, right?

*says

still waiting for the jack booted thugs to show up here in oregon.

we're not even allowed to have dispensaries, yet dozens popped up after the holder memo.
I've been able to buy marijuana any time I have wanted all my life in non-mmj states without ever having been arrested. This doesn't mean there isn't an enforcement effort against it. You can walk down the street or through a store and tell who is high, and no one really bothers them even in the anti-mmj states. This doesn't change the fact that it is the legal and the government is out to get you.

without the states definition of medical marijuana being legal, right or left president, there are, and were, no dispensaries. furthermore, the only reason you could even consider tying a democrat president to dispensaries opening up is due to the fact he stated he would leave the issue "To the states". So yeah, thank the executive branch for saying they wont mingle in what they shouldn't be mingling in, in the first place. And sometimes, even that isn't true.

Yea, there were only two people who I heard who outright said they would work to legalize all marijuana and only one had even a snowballs chance in hell of winning. Gary Johnson and Ron Paul. Obama can't even call 'state rights' and try to turn it over to the states, because people would laugh at him.

You miss the issue that the government even has the ability to outlaw things based on a clause that has nothing to do with the things it is outlawing. It could conceivably outlaw abortion, retardation, and being Democrat. The Federal Government apparently has no limit on its power.

It is funny when we follow dogma how much we will swallow. Cannabis is a states right issue. Republicans are for state rights. If you look back to the prohibition, it was the Southern Democrats that pushed in Cannabis with the ban on cocaine in Coke. That was for inter-racial fear of cannabis as a sex drug.

They got the backing of Big Tobacco, because people are stupid and fear driven, just like now.

Think about what is a Partisan, in the martial sense. You might be sadly uninformed about what your own side is up to and even don't care about that.

But, you are taught to hate the other side. That's all you need is hate. In the end, that's all you have. No real savvy, just hate.

If you hate them, the enemy can be de-humanized. Heidi hate the Pubs, but, really foklks just hate the symbols they are taught to hate.

Lincoln was a Republican and even today, the KKK are Dems. The Dems are the fat cats in Congress. Just look it up.

I've been a torch carrier for both sides and been way out in the fringe of both sides, as well. I just wanted to see for myself.

Now, I'm staunchly in the middle and completely free from hate. Now is only and only we fill it with hate.
