OK - Took my first steps in making this wonderful medicine. It is definitely a learning curve trying to manage eight bags. I found that I only need a few. I went to my hydro store to get the 5 gallon 4 bag set of Boldt bags but they only had the eight bag set. They were running a special on these 5 gallon eight bag sets of HVY Bags so I thought I would give them a try.
Observations:
The bags are stiff and full of threads and lint. They are all black but do have the screen size embroidered on the top of the bag next to the name. They also came with a drying screen the size of a small napkin. I gave all of the bags a quick rinse and stacked them in a 5 gallon bucket.
Process:
Put 4 large freezer bags of trim in the 5 gallon bucket with ice and water and stirred for a minute to get it all wet and then let it sit for 15 minutes. Next I stirred with a woden spoon for 15 minutes. Smelled so good!!!!
Poured the mixture in to the bags. Pulled out the 220 bag with the soggy trim. Pulled each bag out one by one and only had residue in the 120 and 73 micron bags. There was very little but I was very excited to see how this works. The hash is very dirty with strings and who knows what. Is this normal? Wait till you see the Macros
IWE First run ever:
When I went to remove these from the drying napkin, the 120 was sticky and hard to remove. The 73 came off easily but it seemed like it was more lint than resin
Keep Sticky,
