FINALLY!!!!!!!!

Got my lights out of storage, and my friend gave me some seeds. I'm not sure which seeds are which strains, but that just makes it more fun. I started with 9 magic beans, 7 sprouted. 2 came from NYC Diesel, 2 came from Flo. The rest are mystery strains, but NONE are labeled. So really ALL of them are mystery strains. I'll maybe get some soil today, but I've definitely already got my grow started. Got my CFLs, got my Tube Fluorescents, a fan blowing on them, I got my backup Halogen and a HPS in the mail. No soil yet, so the beans are chillin in some rice, but they are looking AWESOME. They germinated for three days, then sat in the rice under these lights for ONE night, and check them out already. (Video Below) Also, there is a tid bit of information about the new Colorado marijuana laws, and other stuff in the first few seconds of the video. People seem to not believe in my ability to grow, so I would like to direct you to the link in my signature, and the links in this post, which will BOTH show you my past grows, using NASTY reggie seeds, NASTY soil, and HORRIBLE flowering lights, and the bud came out pretty nice. Me either actually, I'm hoping it doesn't go bad. I didn't have anything else, and the dirt here outside is either sand or rocks. So I just did this as a temp "ghetto rig" till I get some real soil

I just didn't expect them to germinate so fast. 2 or 3 days and they were already this big.

Well I gotta give you an A+ for ingenuity Just hope the rice doesnt suck the moisture out of the roots or the roots dont get tangled up before you can transplant them.. Either way im along for the ride!!

I had the same thought. Just gotta keep an eye on that water level, because between the rice and the lights, these seedlings could die while I'm sleeping. But also, the rice soaking up the moisture could end up being a good thing, because the roots may be able to steal it back when they need it. And the rice will always be holding some.

Why would I care if I make it easy for you to advertise me, I have absolutely ZERO issues with that. And I didn't expect them to say anything, except "Why are you using rice?"
