How is expecting adults to act responsibly infringing on peoples rights? No one has even suggesting taking guns from people. You have a hyper sensitivity to this issue.
Where did I say anything about taking guns away? I think it's YOU who is letting their emotions get the better of themselves.

Preventing kids or theives from getting hold of loaded weapons infringes on my rights!
What you're proposing infringes upon the 2nd A and there are already laws against theft.

Fuck you man, seriously.
Thank you for that. First you lie about what I say, then you curse me... how adult of you. (in case you don't know it... THAT was sarcasm, also)

I've certainly never heard of it happening, and that's all I said. You have cases of gun safes being removed from houses?
Do I have cases? No, but I've heard about often.

I really don't see how you are sacrificing your liberty by appropriately storing a firearm.
There you go again. I warned you about bastardizing what I said. You are now relegated to the "ignore posts, will not debate honestly" crowd, don't worry, you won't be lonely.

A lot of your comments didn't seem overly bright, it's hard to filter them without hearing you actually say "DERP", in real life.
Thank you again, for proving my theory that progressives are cannot debate issues without resorting to lies and insults.

I looked really hard, no exploding heads. Oh, and those are AK variants of some sort. More likely to be 7.62mmx39mm, AKA "30 cal", not .223 so you know.
Those are mini-14's, & buy their muzzle control, I'd say .223.
And if you slow it down and look frame by frame, you'll see his head almost explode.

I guess I'm still 'old school' I prefer my old .50cal Hawken

NICE! My dad built one when i was a kid and i got to shoot it a lot. Been trying to get him to let me have my son shoot it but he seems to have gone soft in his aging. He says it's too much for a 115 lb 13 year old. i disagree. You just start with lighter charges. i was thinking between 80 and 90 grains. Thoughts? It's been a while since i've shot it.

Oh yeah, it's fun to shoot with 80gr. Just use patch & ball, not much recoil. Actually mine shoots nice tight groups with .490 round ball

Nope those are AK's, definitely AK's. To my knowledge, mini-14's only came in .223, (just a sidebar). Whether or not his head exploded, you put that much lead from any gun into a skull you're likely dead.

i remember running 110-115 grains when i was younger and we taking slabs off a granite face at around 100 yds lol.

My shoulder was a little sore for a few days though.

There is virtually nothing that can't be used as a weapon somehow. CO2, glass, a nail, a sponge could suffocate as easily as as pillow, you could even use a large piece of steak to kill someone.

But they are not intrinsically a weapon.
If they can be used as weapons, 'weaponicity" is intrinsic. It does not need to be by design. Jmo. cn

My point was that your argument sounded exactly like arguing for tougher car laws. It would certainly make the streets safer for everyone if at least somewhat regular driving tests were required. Or is that somehow helping the state too?

They're criminals because they disregard laws, laws won't stop them in all cases but, having some storage regulations would stop guns from being stolen as frequently. I've never heard of someone stealing a gun safe in a B and E. If they do steal it, at least you made the son of a bitch work for it. Most B and E's consist of easily stolen things.

I would think lessening the total number of gun homicides would constitute progress for either side? Less people being murdered is usually good for everyone involved, is it not?
I distinguish between murder and homicide. If the gun homicides are bad guys and suicides, then they're "good". cn
