I could agree if you put a "Dick" in front of it. "Dickhead" is the right word. I've watched him recently and even he says the Viet....Iraq War was a giant mistake. And in college he was a wee bit of a head.
What books are for nerdsuse a scientific web site. Wikipedia is full of entries by people like you who have read wikipedia. Its a great source of trivial info but you just cant trust it man,
OPEN A BOOK!
Books can be wrong, even nonfiction book are not infallible. Plus that would mean either going to the library or PAYING for something(unless its a book i already have).use a scientific web site. I've got a better Idea, Open your mind!Books can be wrong, even nonfiction book are not infallible. Plus that would mean either going to the library or PAYING for something(unless its a book i already have).
LMAO, do you have an ax or something? That would be one sure way of opening my mind, right?...........I've got a better Idea, Open your mind!
So, I guess this means you are one of those "I'll not vote because there is no-one that meets my criteria" dudes, eh? Well no more bitching from you after the election then. If you don't vote you have no say in politics. At least you could vote for the one that you believe will have the best outcome or will do the least harm.I am actually surprised that there is this much variety of opinions on this issue. I always check out the off-topic discussion section of a community before I join it. This gets my approval.
I am political, however none of the modern day politicians really do anything for me.
As for Obmama, his past leads me to believe that he has extreme views on race(anti-white for sure, which means he is a black david duke), and the social structure of this country. He has absolutely no real message at all.
Hillary is scatter brained and is a Clinton, she has absolutely no concrete stance on anything...
McCain is approachig 80 years old(nothing wrong with 80 YO, but...), and is all over the map with regards to policy. He is not predictable on any issue, and although he says he is "conservative" is certainly not on many issues.
I love this country, but share many of the same reservations as many people on both sides of the aisle.
That was his first post!! What about a welcome to RIU politics? He mentioned some very valid points if you ask me.. The only thing I was waiting for him to mention is how RON PAUL is THE MAN!!!!! WHOOOHOO.... hehe..So, I guess this means you are one of those "I'll not vote because there is no-one that meets my criteria" dudes, eh? Well no more bitching from you after the election then. I just stated a valid position. If you don't bother to vote, or vote for a lame duck (One with no possibility of being elected) then you're really not a participant in the election results and have no say about the election or it's subsequent results. Voting for Ron Paul puts you directly in this category. It's not about what might have been, but about about what it is and how we can make it better. I feel bitching because the wrong guy got in is a valid position as long as it was one of the two presented. Our only choice in this present "democracy" is a choice of two. When they open it up to three, four or twenty, then you RP fans can start bitching. When your candidate is eliminated early in the primaries, time to join the crowd, it's over! It's over. It's over. Voting for RP will not change a thing except it may allow McCain to win. That was his first post!! What about a welcome to RIU politics? He mentioned some very valid points if you ask me.. Welcome to the site lilrascal! Don't mind Mr.Grumpy/MM
I suppose there's no shame in perpetuating "The Machine".IWhen your candidate is eliminated early in the primaries, time to join the crowd....
Hear, hear!I "personally" am opposed to flag burning...
But I would never foist that belief upon others as that would violate their 1st Amendment rights. What kind of American would I be if I allowed myself to get swept up in imposing my beliefs upon others and force them to comply? I love my country too damn much. It's my opinion that my nation is represented in our flag. Again...This is my belief and if someone was burning a flag in front of me, I would have to let them do it or I'd be compromising my belief in the US Constitution.
I've just pictured Shatner and Nemoy..
Cupcake.
I remember a time when a kindergartner wasn't sexually harassing the other when he simply kissed her because he was smitten. Anyone else remember that?
When I'm really stoned and I read medmans posts sometimes I see thisI suppose there's no shame in perpetuating "The Machine".
Hey wetard/retard, blah, blah, blah, you're ignorant, blah blah, blah, you're going gay, Blah, blah, blah, I'm tired of debating your nonsense, Blah blah blah. BTW, Blah, blah, blah.
