...funny thing. We 'know' that God is immaterial. So, who the heck would be writing sacred scriptures other than people? You'd think that He'd need intermediaries, of sorts, with the biomechanics necessary to fulfill the task. I think that might be 'people', so far as I can see

I'm not sayin God doesn't use intermediaries, my point was that people are not perfect, and their work is sometimes corrupted by personal agenda.
