If they come for your guns, do you have a responsibility to fight?

Hunting deer with a .22 is seriously fucking cruel, you should be ashamed of yourself.
I love meat eaters who claim cruelty. If he wants to skull fuck it until it stops squirming, what does it matter? Is it any less dead whether by means or reason? You think the deer cares? Yet you call me the retard. Boo hoo, deer cruelty. But, mmm foi-gras or veal!

Sick of hearing you announce you're a vegan in every thread, stfu and diaf already. Then be eaten by organisms.

Instead of defending veganism, just remember, if animals weren't meant to be eaten, they wouldn't be made out of meat.

I didn't say anything about veganism, dipshit.

Tell me how you test for "humane meat," "conflict free diamonds," "non-slave chocolate/ free trade," etc?

It's all bullshit to make you feel better about what you know is wrong.

You meat eaters should praise meat no matter how it's raised or slaughtered. You're all just pussies.

I have zero conflict with how I live.

In Mexico, cows aren't given antidepressants and outfitted with holes to reach in with your hand and check the stomach contents. I think I'll have a steak.

So not wanting to hurt an animal when you kill it is wrong?

You are reeeee-tarrrrrr-ded!

I'm vegan as well. Most vegans cite "animal cruelty" as a reason why they went vegan. *Trying* to kill a deer with a small caliber rifle is cruel, imo. There is a very good chance you will only wound the animal and allow it to bleed out and suffer for hours/days if not found. I would much rather see a clean shot with a proper gun that takes the animal out quickly ..... and doesn't allow it to suffer. I'm kind of shocked that you give this no consideration.

BTW, I have no issue with hunters that do things properly and hunt for the meat. I do not support trophy/sport hunting.

I did some quick research and found that for the most part, only several southern states that do not restrict magazine capacity when hunting deer. SC, TX, GA. Other states do not restrict capacity unless you are using a Semi Auto rifle, then most are 5 or less, some are also 10 (KY)

When hunting migratory birds (geese ducks etc) the FEDERAL law is no more than 2 rounds in the magazine.

When I see people talking about deer hunting with 30 round magazines I have to wonder if they aren't full of shit.

In many states it is illegal to shoot deer with a rimfire cartridge, some other states limit the minimum caliber size to .25+ eliminating hunting with a .223 or 22-250.

What state are you in? If you don't mind telling.
Oregon.............nitro..

Take thine ammunition, for we no longer need to hunt the deer, the food of the peasants. The king has spoken, and has granted us thine anti-depressed cattle for the ages.

Have you watched national geographic lately?

Nature is not concerned about euthanizing animals painlessly when they are killed...

I only kill to save my life. So if that happens, I could care less if the human or animal is hurt. Btw, how do you kill without hurt?
Usually a bullet in the back of your head/neck does it, a .22 would probably just wound the thing and let it die slowly from bleeding out.

If you hit it properly with a decent calibre round it'll die painlessly.

I guess youre a pretty shitty vegan.

I understand that.

Do you consider yourself smarter than the average Hyena?

If not, I concede the point .....

.22 magnum in a deer head will do the trick fast, but a .223 is plenty big for white tail, I could agree with a larger caliber for the bigger antlered animals (elk, moose, etc.).

We take 300 to 400 pound hogs with a .22 chipmunk, bullet placement is always key no matter what the caliber.

If painless death is a huge concern then bow hunting would have restrictions already, you wanna talk about a precise shot. I have shot them with a bow and had a good hit and still not die till 200 yards later. I have seen a white tail shot at 150 yards right in the kill zone and still tracked it 100 yards. Deer are really tough animals and sometimes survive the unthinkable.

Yet a larger calibre round usually drops them in their own shadow...

What does intelligence have to do with it?

Most hunters I am aware of do it for sport. And that generally means that they try to get the best kill possible. They dont want to shoot an animal in the ass and track it for 5 miles before it dies.

A .22 through the heart is just as lethal as anything else.
