The more nutes you have in the water, the more acid or base needed to change the overall ph... less nutes = less acid or base needed to change it...

well i purchased organic fish emulsion and florabloom, both which can be used for soil or hydro. the fish emulsion claims wont clog up your reservoir.

probably gonna get that bag of coco if its true that coco coir compacts less than potting soil.

So you are trying to give advice for something that you know nothing about?

Why don't you have your mom fix you a snack and go to bed?

I'm contemplating doing a couple cheap mixes to show how it's done...

1) pure home depot nutes (high N veg mix + Higher PK mix for flowering)
2) Online cheap one part general fertalizer mix (southern AG 20-20-20 veg) S.AG 10-30-20 + 10%-20%MPK for last 2 weeks)
3) Lucas formula (possibly adding MPK)
4) my specific base mix talored to what I think the plants need may include some hydro nutes for a base (prob Floranova, liquid kool bloom, calmag)(not that I prefer Hydro nute)

these would prob be 2 lights for each setup... that way it would be easier to judge the differences...

Could be fun...

get a ppm meter... that's the only way your going to know how much nutes your putting in...

you don't need stronger nutes... you just need to add more of the ones you got... (although stronger ones tend to be cheaper in the long run)

think of it like this...
.10-.10-.10
.3 % at 1ml/per gallon nutes mixed with 5 gallons might be 25ppm ... so 32ml/pg would be 800ppm

10-10-10
30% at 1ml/per gallon nutes mixed with 5 gallons might be 250ppm ... so 3.2ml/pg would be 800ppm

What exactly do you mean by compacts? If you mean aeration then Coco wins hands down I mix with 25% hydroton pellets and 75% coco and notice a huge diffrence in root structure as compared to when I was using Ffof in my amateur days.

Try growing one good plant in soil before you consider changing to coco and quit giving advice asshole.
