PC GROW (pics) looking for tips on my LST and what I can do better to minimize growth

He's right though. When you add it all up. You can Veg for as little as a few
weeks, and less with clones, but there is still 8 weeks or so of flowering.

...and then there is the drying and curing phase.

Good luck,

I vegged for about a month and a week or two. I wish I took a clone from this guy, but you cant take clones when it's in flower stage right? Here's an updated pic...i basically heated up a nail and poked holes in the side of my container and used wool string(red circle) to get the stalk down a little more. This picture doesn't show the angle, but I was trying to bend it only the point that I could see other bud sites below it. I've also tried to fold over fan leaves with wire as I think you can see in this pic. Anything else I should be doing to increase my yield and still keep a short plant?

I've been using MG bloom booster for about a week now with zero sign of nute burn. Should i increase the strength? Im using a gallon jug and 1/4 of the directions. My pc box is running like 6500-7000 lumens, and my bathroom gets a lot of light, would it be beneficial to put my plant by the window at least when the sun is on that side of the house, i heard the sun produces like 10,000 lumens or something. Lastly a question about watering, is watering every other day too much? Given the size of my pot, how long would you guessitmate it should take me to empty out my gallon. It's down to about 35% of the container after I'd say 4 watering sessions. Thanks for looking!0305131053.jpg

Question: By increasing the amount of light each bud site is getting, am i taking away from the possible density of what seems to be the main bud sites? Or is this basically tricking the plant to thinking that all the bud sites are the main ones because they're getting equal light? I would think that this would also increase the amount of food that it would need since it has to spread the wealth...will the plant tell me when it needs more food or will it try to just make due with what i'm feeding her and then won't be able to produce bigger colas than it might have with more bloom nutes in the water?

If you start tying down the main, and every couple days tighten just a bit more, you'll get a feel for how much she will tolerate, but also add ties further up as she grows, and keep bringing the new growth down while it's still young and flexible.
Just go in a rotational flow following the pot rim, and keep her low.
All your side branches will eventually grow upwards towards the light and be colas instead of popcorn.

Im pretty sure you can clone flowering plants brother....how far in..?? and just throw it back under veg lighting they should start growing after some good ol root development

These 3 sticks I got in the solo cup I just moved to a cut off 2 liter that I taped up to keep light out, and buried them, but I cut those when she was in flower, just stuffed them in the cup for shits and giggles and they had the cup full or roots when I just pulled them out to transplant.

I can visualize what you mean by lsting it around the pot, but I don't understand how i would do that. I'd have to bend it down then somehow bend it to the right or left, but I don't know how to hold that position. I was also thinking of making a scrog...basically using the wire i've been using for the LST and and attach it to the container at all four corners. Basically, make a net/screen with the wire(unless there's an easier way?) and have it connected to and held up by said four wires at the corners. I know i'm basically picasso ..but something like this pic.

As you add string to the new growth coming out, just keep pulling in whatever direction you want her to go.
Don't just move an existing tie, add new ones further up the stem as it grows.

Ok...about tying her down. Do i ever need to allow the new growth to be slightly higher or do you literally keep everything the same level never allow her new growth to pass a certain point? Get what i'm saying? Also what about the watering? Looking at my pics, how long should a gallon last do you think? Should I up the strength of nutes from 1/4 to 1/2 strength? Should i always try to water every inch of the pot or basically dump most of it by the initial stem and scatter some around until it's just somewhat wet?

I like to water the whole pot, starting towards the outside, making the roots grow, not just staying in the center.
Every few days, just peek at it, and if you see the new growth starting upwards, then tie it down.
You are making this a lot more complicated than it has to be man.
You know how tall you want it to be, so if anything starts getting close to that height, just pull it down.
The plant will grow wherever you MAKE her grow.

wow it's insane that i've only been in flower 13 days..and the amount of growth and from my first pic until now! How long do you think this rate of growth will happen before it hits her limit and starts concentrating on colas?

The 12/12 stretch can last anywhere as long as 3 1/2 weeks.

You're trying to keep it as short as possible........
What do you plan to lollipop?
With the LST'ing, you're gonna have a bush, not a tree.;-)

There's a lot of leaves on the lower end of the plant that aren't necessary. I figured those unnecessary fan leaves are taking up nutes and energy that would be better used further up the plant

The leaves are the solar panels that make the buds don't cut any off. Plus if you have a nute problem and lose leaves towards the end of flowering you will have some to spare. Nice grow I'm curious to see yield.
