if you look at someone's post, in the lower left is a star,click on it. the green bars under your name determine rep.

thats cause its not the exclamation mark its the parenthesis and the plus sign for +rep("+)

You have a star on my screen. I think that when you remain in a thread and view the new posts (rather than reloading the page), the new posts, which includes your own, don't show the star until you reload. I've tried to rep good answers before, and had to reload the page because the star didn't appear at first. That's my hunch, at least.

Some operating systems lack functionality. My Android Gallaxy2 sucks for posting on this forum. I have to use my desktop computer to get some of the features not on the portable device.
i know its there but on my screen i only have the triangle with exclamation mark on everyones post tried reloading page logged out and back in again still not there
im on a macbook pro cost me £2,500 so shouldnt be a problem there thnx for your input though
