Muskie, they eat bass lol.
Muskie around here in several lakes but I don't want to spend the time needed to catch. Like the "every time I go I catch something" reward. Been big cat fishing on Ohio river a few times. Perch fishing Lake Erie once or twice a year. Some stream smallmouth. Mostly bass, though.
Good luck using spinnerbaits, Hawg type rubber frogs, wacky worm, hula's.

the absolute best lure I've used for bass so far! Find a nice little cove where they're hiding and toss this in, the spoon is a little different than I'm used to on this picture but other than that it is the exact same one. I usually use a smaller weight on the line with it, if you buy one just run it across the top of the water slowly and you can see the amazing action it has, looks just like a wounded/distressed fish and once you start actually using it it gets SLAMMED. The only downside I find is it very easily will get caught on weeds etc, a good tip for that for those who don't know, cut off the front hooks on both the tri hooks so the don't snag so easy :)

You guys ever fish for anything bigger than Bass ?
Here in the gulf coast....Yes.Way bigger, this is Texas afterall...freshwater we have striped bass, catfish, gar, hell I can catch 20+lb carp at the golf course......saltwater we got, well everything:lol:...redfish,black drum,bullsharks...im sure there's more.
Personally I like freshwater. When i lived in florida i had the bass tracker 17 w/merc 70hp,motorguide 75 w/2 batteries and a push pole...caught more bass in 7yrs than 20 in Texas but I would only go back for the fishing. Now im boatless with 4 kids, the neighborhood pond/lake has bass up to 6lbs,catfish 7lbs,so im content....but the past few yrs ive been thinking about kayak fishing but I will probably get another tracker.

I always catch something when I go fishing.... A buzz. lol

But yea, they are a bitch to find and land. Ive had buddy's spend entire summers trying to catch one with no luck. Unless I'm fishing for lunch, I look for big fish, little fish do nothing for me.
