I finally ordered my DM Reverse and Penetrator should be here sometime soon. However need to buy some Canna flush asap to sort my soil out i hate to see my girl suffer.

yeah they are a bit far this time and well, wasn't quite sure about it all when it was the right time to do it, so skipped it.
I will be trying that next (falls) grow.
My goal was to harvest at July 4th and next one at Christmas.
I will be a week or so past the 4th this time but should nail the Christmas holidays easily.
Been consulting a Gardening by the Moon calendar and will plant harvest the fall grow according to the signs of the zodiac and stuff.
I don't "believe" in that stuff but who knows?
Cover all your bases is my way of doing stuff usually.

and am a registered Independant-Republican-Democrat-Green Party Voter!

yeah man, the bio dept chairman and i had a pow wow b\c he was a little "frightened" about such a young student studying something so controversial. hahaha. he basically said there will be no slaps on the wrist, if i step a toe out of line, not only will the toe be cut off, but i will be expelled. so naturally confidentiality is key. sorry about that part, but in about two years, if the both of us are still alive and kicking here at RIU.org, ill post my dissertation in full for the world.

Hiya everyone
Well I made a decision today and started the wheels in motion for my next Grow/Journal.
I will be attempting a SCROG grow with 4 plants using this strain:

Vortex
(Apollo-13 X Space Queen)
High Times Top 10 2007
Featured in the Big Book of Buds 3

My oldest head stash crossed with my new favorite. Both parents have a similar pungent, rotten fruit, baby poo smell. Both carry heavy potency and copious amounts of resins. The resulting Hybrid cross fulfills my desire to have Apollo-13 in seed form even before we continue with the cubing. Sharing traits of both mom and dad some females lean so much towards Apollo even MzJill can’t tell the difference in a blind taste. My favorite female is a sweet and sour girl that to me tasted like Sour Patch candy but I yielded close to 4 ounces with minimum training. She is easier to grow and trim than mom..

• Phenotypes - Variation with phenotypes like both parent strains
• Height-Short to medium with wide bushing and loads of bud sites perfect for SGROG
• Yield-Medium/ I pulled 3.5 Ounces from a 40” Bush
• Indoor/ Outdoor matures very fast
• Best Way to grow- Wide sagging bush with hundreds of bud sites. Lots of stakes and string
• Harvest Window-50-55 days
• Sativa/ Indica 80/20
• Hybrid-Genius X P75 X Romulan X Cindy99
• High type-heart racing, energizing, confusing, stoned, ripped curled under, stupidity
• Smells like Mango Snapple with lemon/ Taste like sweetened lemonade.

Very unique Cindy like plant with a bizarre twist, very potent

This strain is from TGA and developed by subcool.
I hope I am able to do him, and this strain justice.
I will be using my current setup with a slight twist.
1-I will attach the "screen" used for training at 9-10" above the grow deck, and attaching the screen when they reach 12-13"
(a longer veg time than normal for me, this grow went to flower at 11")
This will be sorta permanently attached to the deck (permanent for this grow)
2- I will also raise the "shelf" the reservoir sits on about 8" off the floor
to allow dropping the reservoir away from the pots to service, clean, change nutes etc.
Photographs will better explain what I intend and will be in the first part of the new journal when it gets going.
3- the HPS will also be raised to accommodate the higher plant deck.
I will hang my T5 gear under the HPS for initial vegging until I feel its safe to give em the MH and finally the HPS super bulb for flowering.
Plants in grown now are at 28 inches (highest) and I still have about 2 feet of room without crowding the light and carbon filter to the ceiling.
This will give me about 3.5 feet worth of "stretch" room above the screen. I will start 12/12 photoperiod once the screen is mostly full.
GOAL is massive amount of colas above the screen.
I will be using REVERSE during day 1 and 10 of 12/12 photoperiod
to help insure I won't have to pull some dumb guy from the screen mid grow. I do not want to use Femed' seeds. besides sub is gonna send me girls lol (as if he could know)
Germination (if all goes well) will start on August 5th

This is just a teaser for you all so watch for my new journal in my sig once I get started.

• thoroughly clean op before germination (its getting cluttered and a bit dusty in there)

Note: added a tsp of Epsom Salt and 10ML of FloraNectar in top off water
Needed to add a full gallon to my 2 gallon reservoir
Girls were thirsty today probably due to higher temps
In for a hot week the rest of the week a good test for the OP as its been mainly in the 80s here recently.

Notes:
They just keep growing like weeds
No images tonight as other than getting bigger nothing has changed really
I will take some tomorrow
Basically checked nutes PH/PPM, topped off and checked again.
Did not linger in OP tonight like I do usually as I am very tempted to snip off a sample
Something I am trying to avoid doing, because I know a few grams now will be a lot more (hopefully) at harvest
Even on the smaller buds.
Lots of browning hairs on a few plants (Emily and Mona)
But they are accompanied by new white ones so I am not at all worried.
Looked at trics with magnifier (yes there are actually quite a few of them)
Mostly looking clear right now but “glands” on top of stalks are getting much bigger on some.

Update on new project
I think I am going to buy a roll of this if it looks right at the store
vinyl coated wire fencing
I can use the extra around my vegetable garden to keep out them pesky rabbits and groundhogs, well at least the rabbits.
The grid is 3" x 2" which should lend itself to scrog quite well I would think.
metal, but coated with vinyl.
will have to test to see if the vinyl "gasses out" under the HPS or MH.
if so may have to go to just galvanized metal or even wood lattice
but the spacing on this seems just right and is available at my local home depot.
I will buy a roll and mess with it then report back to you all about it.

I probably should grow out the seed I get and take clones, then scrog the clones but I am a experimental type grower and so I will go for it scrogging plants from seed. I will somewhat depend on reverse to help hermi problems and well boys? I will chop at base of stem then as they dry I will fish em out.

I am also considering doing the removable wooden dowel "trellising".
I will decide soon as I want things in place to get this off and running as soon as this grow is over and thereby have nice fat buds for the Holidays.
